We arrived slightly before we were supposed to, however the owners were very nice about it. As we were in the office getting the briefing she very clearly said "only touch the on/off button on the remote, to operate it" well, as I was trying to navigate past children and a bed with a bag packed for three. I hit the button on a power strip turning everything off. I made my walk of shame to the office, in the rain and told them what I had done. The owner came down, attempted to fix the TV/Cable but could not at first. Instead of blaming myself or my children. He looked at everything and found a cord had been disconnected and the box was faulty. He replaced it with no comments or complaints. Which was a breath of fresh air after spending 5 hours in a car and expecting a lecture. The next morning we saw the same owner walking around outside seeing if everyone had a good night and asking if they needed anything. Good people. The grounds were very well maintained. From the greens to the interior all clean and obviously looked after. Impressively there were multiple pools, a playground, a playset, rope swing, table tennis, volleyball, row boats with PFD's and beach access. There was free WiFi, and cable which came in very handy with a teen and two younger girls in the rain. They did have a fire pit and chairs near the cabins which was nice. Best part was beach access. The walkway though well labeled and maintained is steep and does have loose rocks, understand there is nothing the establishment can do about this, this statement is purely as a heads up for footwear and in no way is it a slight on Cramer's Point. Once you navigate the trail down to the lake, there is a beautiful shady tree and rowboats...side note PFD's are near the playsets, grab before you go down. The hill is more fun going down than it is going up...lol This place is truly a hidden gem, sorry to see them sell, hopeful the new owners keep the same charm it has now. Thank you for a great weekend Frank and Marion, best of luck with your future endeavors. 35 years well spent I hope, you helped our family have a great trip.

I’ve been staying at Cramers Point since 2002. This past weekend was my first weekend with the new owners. They updated everything so nice. The bed was the most comfortable bed I ever slept in. My boyfriend and I stayed in 11, which is attached to the house. My grandparents (who have since passed away), stayed in that exact room back in 2004, which brought back so many memories for me. My mom stayed in 1, which was such a nice little spot with a bedroom and living room, the fire place was awesome. My brother stayed in 8, and had the most amazing king size bed, and my cousin stayed in 10, which was as well a great room. We are coming back in September for the car show and we cannot wait! I’m so glad the place still had its charm with new owners, and we look forward to continuing business with you guys for the years to come!!

If your looking for a great place to stay in Lake George, your search has ended with Cramers Point! We stayed 3 nights in cabin 3 and wished we could have stayed longer! The room was very clean, had everything you could need! Wifi and cable TV. All the TVs have been upgraded to flat screens. Our room had a kitchen included which had every dish, utensil and appliance you can think of. There is 2 pools, and a path to the lake. We took out one of the row boats they provide and it was a great time. Anything we needed the owners Frank and Marion were happy to provide. They have great attitudes and really show that they care about their guests. My family appreciates that kind of attitude!! We will definitely be back!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! In all of my years of traveling and getaways. This is by far the worst place I have ever stayed. Upon arrival, we smelled a strong sewer smell but didn’t think much of it. Once parked, we said our hellos to the friends and families who arrived a day before us. The owner of the property, Frank, stormed towards us at the parking lot and started interrogating us and asking “what are we doing here and why are we offloading all these things?” After telling him we have booked and are going to check in. He then asked us to follow him to the office and to shut the door behind us. Then, suddenly out of no where he started having a breakdown in front of my husband, my 3 year old son, and I. He went off and started yelling at us about how his sewer is backed up and the amount of people in his establishment are putting a strain on the septic system. His face was red and flushed and he was scaring my son. My husband and I were in shock, we just got there and this is the welcome we received from the owner of this establishment! My husband told him that this is not our problem if he overbooked his establishment and instead should be apologizing for the sewer smell. Clearly, he booked out every single room out during the pandemic and there was no social distancing put in place. He started getting more offended and told us not to shower often and flush less. My husband laughed and said “so do you want us not to poop?”||||He then asked us about our other friends truck who were here to help us offload. However, he then came up with a bright idea that we should go hang out wherever they booked and not strain his septic system for the night. The funny part is our friends also booked for the following night in this establishment! They also didn’t have a very pleasant check in with Frank’s wife. The couple that run this establishment are nut jobs.||||At one point during our check in, we asked Frank “ummm, so do you want us to check in or not?” We were already regretting that we booked there and was debating if we should drive 5 hours back home. We were in such a dilemma because we didn’t know what to do. We came up to spend time with friends and family and obviously we didn’t want to be separated. So my husband and I checked in anyway regardless of how we were mistreated just so that we can spend time with family.||||Aside from the check in process, this establishment is disgusting! It’s full of flies and cockroaches. Literally we had to deal with smelling sewer poop, flies, and cockroaches all over the kitchen, toilets, on our blankets, on our children, on our food the whole entire weekend. My kids were stepping on septic water while playing. The whole play area was saturated but he had only barricaded a small section. There is mold in the bathroom tub and floor. There are cobwebs around the bed frames. The pool is not heated so that's false. There is no housekeeping so that is misguided on their website. Frank and his wife are literally the front desk, the housekeeper, the garbage man, the night patroller, and the whole hotel hospitality team.||||Most importantly, we were trying to make the best of what we could of despite the horrible hospitality. However, if you plan to sit and lounge outside after 11pm. Don’t come here. Frank was literally pacing back and forth and patrolling the place to make sure no one is talking too loud. This was so ridiculous and I wished I took a video of him doing that. All in all, I would never ever come back here with my friends and family. I would never recommend anyone to come here. Spend your money somewhere else where you don’t get abused like this. We obviously couldn’t make a complain to anyone because they ARE the owners. So here I am letting everyone know what a horrible...
