We stayed at the inn for one night, while skiing at Windham.||||The location is 2 miles from the resort and easily accesses from the highway. The inn itself is a small but beautiful building, and well maintained. You can tell that a lot if effort went into the decor of each room. The wooden floor and furniture style add to the 'Antique' effect.||||The hostess is very friendly and great for advice on local activities. She was also accommodating with breakfast hours (given we had to leave early the next day).||||Rooms are cozy with sufficient space (better than most B&Bs). There's a sink/mirror in each room, and all have a large shared bathroom. The two queen+single rooms are adjacent so a little noise creeps in through the wall, but we had no trouble with that. The inn only has 3 rooms so likely to sell out fast in Dec-March weekends.||||Breakfast was french toast, eggs, OJ and coffee for us (you can talk to the hostess on your preferences). It was delicious!||||One issue is the lack of mobile network coverage in the area, but there is a decent WiFi connection at the inn, so it shouldn't be a big deal.||||Also they offer room + discounted lift tickets which we found out later (they are a better deal than purchasing them in person at the resort), so would be a good idea to call the hotel in advance before booking the room.||||Overall this is great value for money if you are a party of 2-3 and skiing at Windham (~$140 nightly, might be less if you call and reserve). Considering location, comfort and the service, I would rate it among the nicest B&B's I...
Read moreWe recently stayed at this B&B for a couple of nights, and liked our experience overall. The host was very friendly, and she gave us plenty of advice about the area and places to eat. The rooms and the rest of the house are very clean, and the beds were very comfortable. WiFi worked great, but keep in mind that you may not have cell phone signal at the house or in the general area. WiFi calling (if your phone is capable of it) helped to get around that. The bathroom is shared (which is properly disclosed in the description), and although 2 of the 3 rooms have sinks inside the room, bear in mind that you may need to wait for the bathroom/shower for a while, since there could be 6-7 people staying at the house.||The free breakfast consisted of eggs, tea or coffee, orange juice, and pancakes or...
Read moreMy wife and I enjoyed a 2 night mid-week stay at this lovely victorian in the heart of the Catskills. We had the second floor king room with plenty of room a comfortable bed and good air conditioning. Lots of windows and plenty of light made this a very comfortable retreat. Breakfast was served on the front porch under a pretty gazebo roof. We had our choice of foods and drink and wonderful conversation with our host. We were able to discover much local color and history in these talks. The only issue that surprised us is that the three upstairs rooms all share one bathroom. Otherwise our short stay was all we could...
