We have gone to PBV for many, many years and enjoyed it immensely until they changed managers a few years ago. TERRIBLE. He overbooks and then tries to change weeks or cottages. If you say you can't make the change, he gives your reservation away. I've seen other people with the same experience on Google reviews. This year he tried a different tactic. Finally, I said I'd need to contact the BBB if he refused to answer. He answered immediately then, said he hadn't gotten the check, and had given our reservation away. Many changes over the years, but it's still in a truly nice location on Cape Cod Bay. The beach is just as nice, the views are still as good, and its proximity to the National Seashore and Provincetown is a real advantage.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay again, on season, were I to have the opportunity. Thanks much to the gentleman working the day we stopped for taking some time out of his day to answer questions and for allowing us to wander around...
