Room 240 smelled like smoke soon as we walked in. There was a lot of ash on the floor by the bed, the remains of a smoked blunt, no hangers for the rusty rails for clothes, no blanket on the bed, some gum trash on the bathroom floor and the outlet was a fire hazard. We got switched to 121 which is a double because they had no singles left. It has NO outlets by neither bed and a big hole in the wall by the sink. One night only. He said never again. The Motel 6 in Downtown Atlanta is really nice, but I guess that's because it's downtown. But the simplest of cleaning and maintenance standards should be the same regardless. (The ash shown is after he moved the nightstand to cover it up because it was way more than shown... then he saw the blunt remnant.) Y'all need to fix all that.

I wouldn't go here. Pictures to include why as well as no hot water in the whole place. The ladies knew yet charged full price and warned no one. People were having to go to truck stops for showers and wash their own linen. After finding feces left on the mattress like Amber Heard must've thought Johnny Depp was there.....I had enough. When I was told I would get a refund the ladies in the front office stole $200 from me and now have filed police reports against them pressing theft charges. They also lied to corporate saying they gave me a credit refund but bank statements were able to prove that lie. $1000 later I have my money and say....please be mindful of where you vaca....some turn out to be nightmares.

Bugs !! I recognized the cockroaches, but there was some other little kind of bug that I hadn't seen before. It seemed that when we cut on the light upon entering the room that they fled to the baseboards to hide. We kept the lights on all night to keep the little boogers at bay. We seriously considered just leaving and finding another place, had it not been midnight after a long day we certainly would have. We slept in our street clothes. I hung my shoes from the TV in hopes that the little critters sharing our abode wouldn't seek refuge in my sneakers. It's bad, just don't go. You know all I expected was clean linens and a bug free place to lay my head. I didn't expect the Hilton. Just keep driving.

I don't know where to start. You might want to take a seat. I'm waiting to move into my house and due to paying so much to move in, I didn't want to spend $800 for a week at a hotel, so I searched for a more pocket-friendly option, which Motel 6 made me regret. First, the TV was so outrageously outdated that it wasn't even watchable due to the fuzziness of the picture. It looked like if I paid some to stand by the TV with hangers to correct the signal to the picture, I'd get the quality of a television from 1972, at best.

I saw housekeeping as they cleaned other rooms and I took notice that the did not wash or exchange comforters, at all. THAT DISGUSTING! How many people run in and out on a weekly basis? You don't wash those? you think the sheets are the only thing that matter? You should be shut down by the health department for that alone. The carpet is disgusting. Not only does the room smell like mold, the carpet feels like its wet (I never took my shoes off, I could feel the moisture from just walking on it, boots and all).

Your hotel is absolutely infested with roaches and your front desk personnel are liars. I called before I ever made a reservation and asked if the hotel currently or previously had any issues with pests, such as roaches, ants, gnats, anything. The man I spoke to laid out well-played flat out lie as he stated,"No m'am, we have pest control come weekly to prevent pests." This is part of the reason I booked the room because I do not do bugs, period. I checked in around 12pm (which was the only half decent experience I had there) and before 2pm hit, I spotted several baby roaches crawling around the sink area as I was doing my hair. Since roaches are notoriously nocturnal, the fact that you had baby ones crawling around in the open in the middle of the flicking day, shows that you have an infestation issue. Something told me not to bring my luggage in and I'm glad I didn't. I had to be at work shortly, so I made sure not to leave my purse or anything in the room and I went to work. When I came back, it was dark and I was tired, so I took a brief shower, pulled the comforter and the sheet directly below it off of the bed (because it wasn't washed) and laid down, using my purse as a pillow because who knows you guys do with that. Since I didn't have anything to cover myself with, I turned up the heat and fell asleep.

Because I saw the little roaches earlier, I was not able to have a good nights sleep at all. I kept waking up every hour or two, just make sure no roaches were crawling around on the bed, walls, or ceiling, trying to do a somersault into my hair (yuck). At 8am, I finally gave up on trying to sleep for more than 2 hours at a time and decided to leave and go somewhere else. I got up went to the bathroom, turned on the light and immediately a gang of roaches scrambled out of the light. I was so shocked, I nearly pee'd myself right then and there. I slammed the door around a couple of times to make sure they were all gone, jumped on the toilet, pee'd wiped and got the hell out of the bathroom. I saw that I left my orange loofah in the tub from the night before, but considering the crazy amount of roaches I saw at 8 in the morning, I decided it wasn't worth it and left that sucker in the tub. Eff that, I'll buy a new one. I grabbed my purse and shook it out and once I was sure that was clear, I grabbed my keys and got the hell out of there.

The price isn't worth it. I'd never stay there again. PLUS you charge $3-$5 for WIFI per device, per day? Hell no! What a joke! There's an hourly motel for hookers less than a mile away from you that's $10 cheaper, but even they offer free wifi... The only reason I didn't stay there was because they looked like they had every insect known to man living in their building and they probably didn't clean anything and you know... hookers... I've been to a Motel 6 before and for the most part, their okay, but this one was just unacceptable. You need to burn it down...

March 13, 2025

My experience at Motel 6 On the 27th day of February 2025, I made reservations with Motel 6, 2810 Lawrenceville Highway, Tucker, Georgia. The reservations were from February 27th until March 20, 2025, this was supposed to be three weeks’ stay. The first four days of my visit to motel 6 were great, and given that it has been over 40 years since I was able to rested, enjoy the comfort of life, and have a peace of mind, I decided to go to the office of Motel 6 and pay for additional three weeks, which would have given me six (6) weeks of relaxation, where my body and mind would have been in a state of rest and the possibility of reducing any level of tension that I may have had. However, on the 3rd day of March, the day I went back to pay for additional three weeks stay, I stood between the female manager and a woman who sat in a wheelchair (a guest of motel 6) with both of her legs amputated, a woman who I never met, and I heard the female manager who work for motel 6 screaming, shouting, and telling the woman who sat in the wheelchair to get the hell out of her office and leave the property before she (manager) call the police. As a Security Director, I was taught that a manager or supervisor should behave with integrity, empathy, and display strong communication skills, leading by example, fostering a positive work environment, and prioritizing guest satisfaction. I completely understand working in a stressful environment or situation. BUT, a leader, or a manager, or a supervisor must be able to handle unexpected challenges and maintain a calm and professional demeanor. In this case, the female manager at Motel 6 showed toxic behaviors like being completely disrespectful, lack of empathy, lack of communication, ill-prepared to lead, poor management personas, poor emotional intelligence, and being too negative. I politely spoke on the behalf of the woman who sat in the wheelchair with both of her legs amputated and asked the manager, of motel 6, why was she talking to the woman in a very despicable way. The manager of motel 6 started screaming and shouting at me and told me to mind my own damn business; she called me a troublemaker; and she told me that I can leave the property with the women who sat in the wheelchair. My true intention on the day of this event was to pay for an additional three weeks of relaxation. Instead, I received garbage in, garbage out (GIGO) from the manager of motel 6, and when I asked for her name, she told me that she was not going to give me her name and if I did not like what she said I could contact the management of motel 6. I called the headquarters of motel 6 several times and I received a complaint number, but I have not received a resolution to the problem. My experience at Motel 6 has been dark, heavy, overloaded, poor, and worse totally the opposite of their slogan, “We’ll leave the light on for you” I cannot stop thinking about how rude that manager for motel 6 was! I want be visiting motel 6 in the...

(This review is for the Atlanta Tucker location ONLY!!!! My husband and I travel from FL to NY 4-5 times a year and almost always stay in a Motel 6 and have had very satisfactory stays!!) Our stay was for 3 days. From the very first night we had a major noise, loud music, yelling, loud talking and fighting from the occupants of the room next door to us THE ENTIRE NIGHT. I called to complain about midnight, and was told it would be addressed. Nothing was done. I did exit my room at one point to verify the room it was coming from and saw the guest walking around and pounding on the door about 2 a.m. as if trying to get in. About 4:30 in the morning I called again to notify the front desk of fighting and loud shouting that never stopped until about 6 a.m. The following morning at 7:20 a.m. I had a call from Teresa, a front manager who apologized profusely, thanked me for letting them know, she stated she knew exactly who was the occupant and that they had gotten complaints before. She assured me they would terminate the relationship with said occupants and we would be refunded for the night. When I went to the front desk a short time later to get a receipt for the refund, I was greeted by Teresa AND David who both assured me the matter would be taken care of. I distinctly heard Teresa tell David exactly who the occupants were and that they were complained about before and that they should be asked to leave. That night the music and noise started out very loud but by midnight had quieted down. (At that point we thought we were hearing this from NEW guests) The next night the whole thing started again with music too loud, loud talking, several, perhaps a half dozen voices etc. We called the front desk and were assured that security would be sent. Security did arrive and knock on the door and the guests would not open up and were quiet. About a half hour after security left it got very noisy again and when I looked out to see if I could see anything, the very same guests from the first night were standing outside smoking. Nothing had been done and they were at it again! Once they went inside, my husband knocked on the wall to try and stop the noise and this was followed by a call from the front desk reporting they had received a call from the noisy room complaining about us knocking. She did say she would send security again but they never showed. The noise continued til 4:30 a.m. When I went to the desk the next a.m. to check out, no one of authority was available. I told the desk person what happened and that I wanted a refund and for management to call us. That did NOT happen, I had to call back early afternoon. David lied and tried to tell me he did NOT know which room so he had not asked those guests to leave. This was an out and out lie, and he could have offered for us to change rooms. Very Unprofessional....
