A little disappointing. We are in the process of visiting all the parks around us, and this one fell short. There are 12 parking spots off Lawrenceville Highway….this turned out to be T he high point of our visit. The natural trails are not marked very well and the map was not very detailed. There were several nice bridges/boardwalks. One boardwalk was flanked by a no trespassing sign, just past the condominiums. We never found the homestead from the forest, and were barred to almost half the park because of construction at the far end. When we have full access I believe the park could be at least a 4-star.

Nice little park, trail is soft surface with some improvised water crossings. Not for use with strollers or small children unless you don't mind them possibly getting wet and muddy. Trail is not a continuous loop but is more hub and spoke. The new neighborhood being built right on the edge of the trail does make it difficult to feel you are out in nature. Once past that section it opens up to a beautiful lake area where you can watch the dragonflies and turtles in relative seclusion. Homestead area is fenced off for safety, but information on the site is interesting

Very serene. Tons of turtles. Love seeing the old homestead up close. It’s a little gem.

I found a park on Google Maps. The name of this park is Jhon’s Homestead Park. It is big and beautiful. There is a beautiful and clear lake in it. It is exciting. I like it so much. So I decided to go to the park right away.

Then my husband and I drove to the park. It only took us three minutes. It is so close to our house. It is so nice.

We traveled along a long path in the forest in the park. Then we arrived at the beautiful and clear lake. I could clearly see the aquatic plants in the lake. The forest surrounded the lake. The air was fresh. The sky was blue. Everything was beautiful! We met an old couple who were also walking by the lake. We greeted each other happily. The lady said that the lake was so beautiful. I liked it very much. I said I liked it too. We were so happy. We had a good time!

Thanks so much for Johns...
