Loretta Guest Quarters — Hotel in Tucson

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was going to be a great experience. Our host, Ross far exceeded the definition of hospitality. His friendliness, welcoming manner and generous treatment were not to be outdone! We were greeted upon arrival and shown around our accommodations as if we were being reunited with an old friend. Later in the week, we found bike maps, notes telling us when to expect the arrival of the gas bar-b-que, and even delicious bakery goods at our door and invitations to avail ourselves of nearby grapefruit trees.

The property is a gem, as well. The apartment is plenty spacious, nicely appointed, bright and lively, clean and well stocked with every need we could have imagined. Ross’ attention to detail in providing for everyday living while on our week-long vacation was like none I had experienced before. Multiple docking stations within the unit, allowed us to surround ourselves with the music we love; and the television/entertainment center provided us relaxation and comfort to view movies and documentaries at our leisure.

The location is superb. We were provided with various resources to explore Tucson and surrounding areas and we were centrally located to many of the city’s attractions; parks, farmers markets, museums, historical sites. After every adventure, it was a pleasure to return to the apartment to prepare meals, relax and enjoy the comforts of our home away from home.

Ross continues to refine and upgrade what he has created here, and we watched with enthusiasm as new additions arrived on the property; tables, chairs, bar-b-que, walkways, and outdoor candles. I can’t wait to see what has developed the next...

This was my very first vacation rental experience and all I can say is wow just wow! I cannot imagine a better experience, the host of this property was the BEST! Accommodating, friendly and every detail was in place. It felt like home. The place looks just like the photos, maybe even better. The fridge had fresh fruit, soda, sports drinks, tonic water etc. There were snacks like trail mix and popcorn, basic needs for cooking, even coffee, tea, creamer, and sugar, even Splenda! Beautiful dishes, glasses and utensils and the most awesome display of professional knives and kitchen gear: toaster,blender you name it! Even the morning paper delivered to your door to enjoy with your coffee. All included at no extra cost which I loved. Both bedrooms were gorgeous, high thread count sheets were a great touch! Everything needed to do laundry was also provided (Hamper, laundry basket, detergent, softener ). Here's the kicker...the host even provided quarters to do laundry! Who does that?! Ross does, he was awesome! He thought of everything and I will definitely be staying there again! It was an amazing experience and I would rather stay at this location than any of the resorts in Tucson. Amenities galore! Thanks again to my wonderful host that made my weekend wonderful with his awesome place! I will be seeing you again and can't wait to stay in that apartment. Ross's apartment was just what we wanted for our first stay in Tucson. It was exceptionally clean, had a kitchen with everything needed to fix meals, a comfortable bed, a place to sit outdoors, access to a washer and dryer and a location that was minutes from restaurants, groceries and things to do. Parking was right outside the door.

Ross was there to meet us and gave us a tour of the place and answered any questions. During our stay communication was always prompt and it was obvious that his goal was to make our stay as comfortable as possible. There was a folder full of information about area sights, local restaurants and museums to help us plan our days. And if we saw him he had other suggestions as well. Ross knows Tucson well and his pride in the town is obvious.

We were happy to find most of the places we wanted to visit were minutes away and getting around town and beyond was very convenient from the location. Just around the corner is a main thoroughfare that made it easy to go any direction, yet the apartment is quiet and had the feel of a neighborhood.

We appreciated Ross's accommodation of providing a place to store my bicycle as it wasn't allowed in the apartment and had bicycle maps available in the information folder. Another nice touch was the zucchini bread from a local bakery left at our door the first morning.
