Chickenuevo — Restaurant in Tucson

Ladies and Gentleman, boys and girls, folks from all different walks of life gather round for the most plain spoken and honest review of Chickenuevo. Lets start with the ordering experience. Folks you've never had heard of such a simple and effective ordering scheme in all your years of ordering food. Simply drive your car round back, order into a microphone, and drive up to a window at which point you pay U.S. dollars to the employee who will meet you there. Wait no more than a couple minutes for a hot Styrofoam plat filled to the brim with food to be placed directly in your open arms. Eat it in the car like a brute, or drive home and enjoy a nourishing meal in solitude.

I know you're probably feeling hungry now, so lets dig in to the vittles. First we have chicken, and let me tell you all something. You haven't had chicken like this since you bought a rotisserie chicken from Fry's! This chicken was cooked, and there was skin on it. I got the sense that there was a lot of protein in it. Boy oh boy was this chicken definitely nourishing. Moving on, if you love Spanish rice, then you are in for a treat, because they have it here. Lots of Spanish rice to fill up on here no doubt. I also ordered some beans and let me tell you all something folks, I sincerely believe that these beans were the best legumes I had that day. My meal also came with two tortillas and some salsa which I wasn't really sure what to put on.

Well that's it everybody. Chicken Nuevo is no doubt one of the chicken establishments in Tucson, and there is no doubt that you can purchase chicken and various chicken accessories here at a very reasonable price. Will I be returning? That all depends on whether or not I am in the mood for some reasonably priced...

The food was made fresh but I did not like how they did not sell platters everything was separate. For instance; we ordered cheese enchiladas that were $7 and then rice and beans are sold separately a small container of beans was $2 and the large was $3 but the beans were like soup which was okay then the total came to $12.00 I felt that it was high because in most of these fast Mexican food places it's $9 for the platter plus tax. I felt like they were gouging us and anyone who will be eating there. The word gouging You know being greedy. There is a middle school across the street from there that could be why they price like that. I probably would not eat there again.

The men next to us had chicken salads but they received theirs in a tin container, not a shell. They didn't like that they're talking about another Mexican restaurant over there off of Kolb and Speedway or just before Speedway it's a little Mexican restaurants it's in the same parking lot as the dollar movie theater that sits behind Walmart they said that their food is bomb and the prices are good and you get your chicken salad with the taco bowl shell and you get your rice and beans with your...

First I purchased 4 meals with sides of course one of the meals wasn't even what I ordered I ordered 4 soft tacos shredded chicken with flour tortillas and rice the plate had 4 soggy flour tortillas drenched with red chicken the chicken was so salty like they used the salt to cover up the old chicken taste it was absolutely disgusting on that I never received the side of rice . With my other 3 orders was 5 crunchy tacos with shredded chicken and two sides of macaroni salad . The crunching tacos corn tortillas were over fried inside the tacos had about two little pieces of shredded chicken in the middle of corn shell with lettuce and purple onions and sour cream covering the top for the other sides I ordered I received one macaroni salad that was gummy and the ham tasted old . I also ordered two Horchatas My order was over $50 of course I put my trust in the restaurant thinking everything I ordered would be there when I got home and I would get what I paid for .
