Our winter destination stopped here at Western Way. This RV Park with wonderful views and residents was most enticing. The sunsets, Saguaro National Park, and many attractions are going to keep us in the Tucson area. UNFORTUNATELY, we were made to move after a week to what we were expecting to be a winter stay. WE were told after a month we were going to have to MOVE again as they had a previous reservation at the spot we were at! Needless to say this is NOT what they said and we have decided to go to another park not far away. Other things that was disappointing was the location of the dog park across a busy street, constant water shut offs due to leaks of a bad supply lines, and dumpsters located in a locked area that has bad access. More than one permanent residents told as this park is under staffed while being overworked, and owners are neglecting updates while using band aid fixes.

We were visiting friends and they set up their RV in this park for us stay in for some privacy. Everyone working at the facility and those staying there were extremely friendly. Very quiet during the day and night, except for the occasional night time coyote who decides to howl next to your camper! The park is located near a couple great restaurants and you absolutely need to check out Queen Donuts! Donuts and Broasted chicken! Fabulous! The RV park is also only minutes to Saguaro National Park and Old Tucson (Hollywood filming studio/location). So if you will be camping in this part of Tucson don't hesitate to book a spot here. But I hear November-February is a very busy time. So book early if at all possible.

We have stayed here several times, mainly because of it's location, but we also appreciate the well maintained facilities and helpful, friendly staff. Most of the spaces are generously sized (and level) and the resort is well away from busy highways, making for a quiet and comfortable camping experience. There is a large, well equipped club house and an excellent swimming pool and spa available for guests. Their reservation system has always been easy, fast and efficient.

This park is very well maintained and had a great pool area and laundry facilities. The staff and permanent residents are wonderful. One big issue, I never had a moment of peace. The three park models surrounding me were under major renovation. Constant table saws, drills and hammers, seven days a week, all day long. I couldn't enjoy a meal or afternoon rest. I haven't experienced this in any rv resort nationally. I would think there would be some oversight and coordination of major projects during the high season and limitations on some times and days, like meal times and weekends. During the night, a malfunctioning HVAC system made a sound like a gunshot every time it stopped.Tried to escape to the pool. Pickle ball is next to the pool, they even play Sunday afternoon. There doesn't seem to be any rules to ensure everyone can enjoy the area, as folks are playing country music loudly on speakers and practicing piano for hours adjacent to the pool which could be heard over earbuds. I was exhausted at the end of my stay from the constant noise. I live in a city, couldn't wait to get back...

Large rv sites on gravel with concrete pad patio. Friendly residents. Most RV sites are in the front of park with long term residents in the back. They are in process of new office and clubhouse which are nice. Free ice from machine. Swimming pool and hot tub looked nice but were closed all 4 days we were there. Our favorite part of the park was a large area to side of the park which had several large walking paths among cactus and trees to walk our dogs. You pass through a gate to enter that area. Poop bags and trash can provided. Dog park with picnic table well fenced. No shade or water. You had to pass through storage area across the street, but they gave us lock code. There is a Dollar General/ Family Dollar just across the street which had limited supplies and groceries. RV park is located on outskirts of Tuscon which made it nice. Be aware of wild creatures entering park at night, and presence of rattle snakes. That being said, those elements are everywhere in Tuscon.😀 Sites are double wide RV sites with lots of privacy. We...

Note this review is coming from a baby boomer who is bringing up the tail end of the boomers. Western Way RV “Park” has nice facilities that are kept clean. The bathrooms/showers could use some updating. Laundry is $1/wash and dry. Clothes lines are available as you cannot hang you laundry at your RV. Everyone who lives here is so friendly & welcoming, and very helpful. There many volunteer-run activities. For this place to be a “resort” they should have an Activity Director and weekly meetings. In order for this RV park to stay competitive they need to evolve into the millennium and use modern technology to communicate; emails, texting, etc. Their announcements are a piece of paper posted at the mailbox which is ineffective. When I see these residents in their 70s and 80s pulling out their smart phones they can handle electronic communication. One major concern I have is that there is no AED on site. Disclaimer: “There is no such thing as a perfect RV...
