We walk in and it feels like we are at a family members house. Right away we are greeted by staff and taken to a table where we are seated and made comfortable with hot coffee and ice cold water. We are given menus and teased with the giant (15 cup) cup of coffee and giant pan dulce. As we conversate with the staff who make us feel as we are family. I chose the super fries which is absolutely delicious. While my wife chooses the weekend special of the meñudo rojo with garlic bread, cilantro, white onion and fresh lime. She absolutely loves her meñudo and this did not disappoint. Their house salsa roja is delicious along with the freshly crushed chiltepine(chili) flakes. Staff is amazing and courteous, while serving other families they are able to make sure that our coffee cups stay at an adequate level to fuel is through our day. Love this hidden gem. Will definitely be returning.
P.s. we did end up purchasing the medium(still...
Read moreThis place is in our top 3 places to eat for our family of 4. They are a family owned and operated restaurant which on its own deserves at least 2 stars. The food is well balanced in flavor from the enchiladas to the tacos that we have had.
Service is amazing as they are often the family members attending to you so they are very generous with chips, attention and price is among the most reasonable I've seen. We love the crunchy tacos, enchiladas and chile rellenos. We haven't tried the soft tacos or fish but they will be next. They are very accepting and accommodating to our 2 toddlers which can be perfect one day and an absolute mess on other occasions. Ambiance is chill vibe with a blend of Nuevo León Mexico mural and 2 TVs as well as plenty of window seating. This place is definitely worth repeating or giving it a 2nd chance if your first try was not enough to...

The service was great, but the food did not meet my expectations. The ingredients used were of poor quality (look at my "guac"). The Aguas Frescas were overly sugary and seemed to be from a machine, rather than being freshly made. The corn ribs appeared to be made from frozen corn, and the sauce on my chimichanga was disappointing, though the shredded beef was flavorful and plentiful. My partner's torta with carne asada was also disappointing, with both the flavor and texture being off. The atmosphere was....bland. An attempt was made, but it didn't quite hit the mark. I wish...
