PICTURES LOOK NOTHING LIKE CURRENT STATE OF HOTEL.
Called the front desk a week before my trip to ask and make sure early check-in around 7 AM as possible due to flying in super early. Was told that that was OK and noted, so I called back two days before my trip to confirm that. Was rudely talked to by lady who claims to be manager, she told me that no one told me that and that that isn’t a thing there. I told her the name of the employee and date and time I called and she still told me I was lying and that no one ever told me that. She then proceeded to sarcastically ask what the heck she should do, open her home to me, random strangers? I was appalled that she said that so I just hung up. One day later she messed up the reservation for us, so cleaning came knocking and yelling at our door at 7am trying to clean our room and kick us out even though my email confirmation was correct and we had through that day. I went down to front desk and the lady added an extra day even though it should’ve already been on there. I then confronted the lady about the conversation on the phone asking if she was the lady who rudely asked if she should open her home to me instead of offering me a solution and she said no, I asked if she was the manager and she said yes. So I responded well you said you were the manager on the phone too so it would’ve been you. She still denied it, and I told her I’d have my boyfriend come down and talk with her in a minute, but when he went down an hour later she was gone. And we never saw her again. The quality of the hotel was deplorable. It smelled horrible like rotting food and old cigarettes. Room wasn’t clean, lacked clean towels and adequate pillows (looked and felt 10 years old) soap wasn’t given had to go look for some hand soap. Floors were chipped and pieces of wood missing. Came back one evening to one of the main employees asleep in main area with no shoes or socks on at 10pm, thinking it was a...

My daughter woke up she had copious amounts of bites on her right arm, stomach, neck, left wrist and lower right leg.
I then started inspecting the bed and mattress and saw a BED BUGS! I quickly took a photo of the bed bug and captured the bed bug in a plastic cup. The bed bug was flat and rusty in color.
I then brought the bed bug in the plastic cup to the front desk person working at the time. She asked me “what room are you in?”. I told her I was in room 219. She then replied “we have never had a problem with room 219”, implying that bed bugs were nothing new at this hotel. I handed her the plastic cup with the bed bug inside and I proceeded to tell her about my daughter having copious amounts of bug bites (as described above). She mentioned that she did not have the authority to do anything about “it” and that the hotel manager would be arriving in the late morning.
Later in the I went back to the hotel to talk to the manager. When I explained what happened to the manager she mentioned that she saw the bug that was captured in the plastic cup. She then proceeds to tell me that the bed bug was “just a small, little tiny bug” (while gesturing with her hands) and tried to make every effort to minimize the BED BUG!
I then promptly explained to her that my daughter had volumes of bites on her right arm, stomach, neck, left wrist and lower right leg. I then showed her photos of some of the bites. The manager then told me “we do not know what’s in the room and we are not responsible”.
According to the state law (R.C. § 3731.13.) in Ohio, hotels and single room occupancy facilities including bedding, floors, and carpets must be kept sanitary. This law clearly prohibits bedding which is infested with vermin or bedbugs from being used on any bed in any hotel. Apparently the law does not apply to this filthy...
Read moreWe had to spend a night here because a storm knocked our electric out. all the other hotels were full going the other direction but we had no problem getting in here, because the power was only on generator you had to bring cash, no cards so we went to the atm at the truck stop right across the street, i have lung disease so i had to find a hotel, this hotel was very clean & nice. it had all the basics, 2 beds that were very clean w/linens, nice bathroom, very well cleaned with a sun lamp to help you dry off. it was so nice! i think it had a coffee maker but we just went right across the street cause there a Bob Evans Popeyes Chicken, a barber shop & a small store where you can buy pre made sandwiches, chips, candy or whatever you need, It is in a very good area with low crime. to the person saying someone was trying to break into her room, it was probably someone who drank too much & tried to open the door to the wrong room. its not that uncommon for that to happen. its right off the freeway but far away enough from it so there is no noise. the front desk was very friendly & helpful. it was nice to go to this budget hotel that had everything we needed, AC, wifi, hairdryer. a table with 2 chairs. it is right around the corner from Buckeye Lake and not far from the National Trails Raceway. i think we paid only $75 per night. we will stay again if ever need a room. and NO bugs!! i always check real good. free 24 hour coffee in lobby. pets stay free. free parking...
