I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Texas Longhorn-Luxury, and it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and pampered in this charming retreat nestled in the heart of Fredericksburg.
The property is stunningly designed with a perfect balance of modern luxury and Texas charm. Every detail has been thoughtfully curated, from the upscale furnishings to the cozy touches that make it feel like a home away from home. The spacious layout was perfect for relaxing, and the beds were some of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in.
One of the highlights was the outdoor area. The serene views of the surrounding countryside and the beautifully maintained grounds made for the perfect backdrop to enjoy a morning coffee or an evening glass of wine.
The location is unbeatable—just a short drive from the heart of Fredericksburg, with its fantastic wineries, boutiques, and restaurants. Yet, the property feels wonderfully private and tranquil, offering the best of both worlds.
The hosts were exceptional—attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to any questions. It’s clear they take great pride in providing a top-notch experience for their guests.
I can’t recommend The Texas Longhorn-Luxury enough for anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing, luxurious getaway in Fredericksburg. Whether you’re planning a romantic escape, a family trip, or a weekend with friends, this place truly has it all. We can’t wait to...
Read moreI stayed in The Merlot Container Home this past week and I loved my experience! I was a little unsure because I have never stayed in a container home, but it was much more pleasant than a hotel. This was my first time ever in Waco and I had no trouble finding the location. The container park had picnic tables and a grill outside which was nice. The container itself was great as well. It was so cozy and beautifully decorated.
The hosts literally thought of everything and I really appreciated all of the small details they put into it, such as the throw blankets with different textures to please everyone's tastes. I have chronic pain so I always get weary about sleeping on a new bed when I travel for work. But the bed felt like I was sleeping on an actual cloud. Everything in the container felt clean and up to date. There were people staying next to me but I never heard them, so you don't need to worry about that.
Some things I noticed - I live in Austin and we are unable to get cold water at my apartment due to the heat. The water at the container had no issue getting cold when I wanted it to. Also, I was happily surprised that the AC worked very efficiently and cooled down quickly.
The hosts were great! They checked in on me each night to make sure everything was okay. I felt safe in the container too which is important for a solo female traveler. I will be traveling to Waco regularly and plan to stay here each...
Read moreThis was cute a cute place to stay!! These are storage container homes, but in very nice condition. Homey, cute, and fuctional. They have dishes and silverware to use, there are some tolietry items already stocked (shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, make up remover wipes, hair dryer, toothbrush kit), they have purified water in the mini fridge (does have a small freezer as well that has ice trays), and a coffee machine with k cups and Creamer and sugar. Hulu is already on the TV. It is also within walking distance of the General store, Waco Waffle Co., the Market, a cheese store! And other places too. There were horses you could see behind the homes (fenced in). I also would see the cleaning crew come by and spemd a good time making sure the place was clean before the next tendants arrived, and there would be someone to come inspect the cleaned home before anyone actually did come spend the night. I personally do not drive, and i stayed here for a few nights and we were comfortable and happy with what surrounded us, that we didnt have the need to want to leave this area to go do something or somewhere else...
