I LOVE any coffee that doesnât burn the stomach. Coffee was served 100% acid free. I was so excited - I bought a huge bag. If you live nearby, make THIS your morning! Excellent atmosphere, with super cool and cutting edge architectural firm at work behind a glass wall! Itâs the firm that designed the incredible wood-and-glass building that showcases the coffee. That added a nice spice to the experience! The bad: Do not be baited and switched. Donât buy the overpriced and severely under qualified, bagged HH coffee. Terrible part of the experience! But the coffee shop itself is a wonderful addition to your routine! One strange element: I criticized the cafe for baiting and switching (like EVERY other capitalistic coffee shop does) - to a member I know (not employed there) - and it got super tense! Strangely, I was treated with immediate, unceremonious rudeness, and was told we âwouldnât and should not converse since all you want to do is argueâ đ. Felt weird and culticly religious. But the coffee shop employees were super sweet and pleasant. Just order a cup. They sold me a $28 bag of coffee without mentioning the difference from the tap - it was old and nasty, loaded with acidic elements. I didnât like that. But I STILL love the cafe. GO! Itâs a terrific...
Read moreThe Heritage coffee shop in Waco, TX, recently moved (we went early Jan 2025), and we had trouble finding it. Our google maps (iPhone) took us to the old beautiful barn location which was closed (during business hours) and we needed to ask a ministry employee at another building where the coffee shop is as we werenât finding it on our own. We would suggest signage at the old location to help visitors find the new location until Google maps catches up. The new location is the basement of an air b & b building. Our coffee was good and we had some delicious chocolate truffles which are made with pure, easy-to-pronounce ingredients. The service was slow as only one barista, but she was very polite and helpful. Where we sat, we could see out to the front patio/parking area and a pretty commercial kitchen thru an interior glass window. Overall, this is a unique experience if you are headed to the Homestead Heritage ministry complex to visit the other stores, take a tour, etc. I honestly do not know what the religious affiliation is or anything about that. For a cup of coffee, this is a trek and not the setting that we were expecting after viewing the beautiful barn...
Read moreBeautiful building. Great coffee. They have the nicest view from the front of the building. We were here when everything is brown, I can only imagine what this looks like in the spring or summer time! We had a great experience. The one thing I took away a star for was that they have some stickers up front by their business cards where you order. Our kids thought they were free because theyâre just stickers. Apparently, though, they are 1 dollar a piece. (Isnât that a lot for a tiny sticker just a little bigger than a quarter?) Theyâre about the size of a half dollar. Some of our kids took a few of them and we ended up paying 8 dollars for some tiny stickers because they werenât even marked with a price and our kids snagged em. Felt like they shouldnât have charged us over it because it was kind of ridiculous. Other than that, it was very good. I got the...
