Baymont by Wyndham Waterford/Burlington WI — Hotel in Waterford

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!! Would NEVER recommend this place to anyone!! We had a room block booked since December 2016 for our resevation date of 6-30-17 to 7-2-17. We had a signed (by myslef and the manager) contract for a block of 10 rooms for a set rate of $129.00. Days before the arrival of my guests I stopped in to make sure all was set. Much to my surprise my rooms were all messed up. They had 2 of my guests room reservations messed up and told me my guests needed to call right away if they wanted the next night. Heres the problem. They had two nights already booked since January with a confirmation number to prove it. Then the manager told me he had no rooms for them for the 2nd night. I gave him my number and told him to call if anything opened up. Surprise surprise an hour later there was a call and a room mysteriously opened up but for only 1 of my guests. Still had to insist TO THE MANAGER I had rooms for 2 nights fo all of my guests and he kept arguing with me and told me no I didnt. All of my family were all split up on different floors, they were placed in rooms I didnt have reserved (block was for 8-dbl queens and 2 king rooms). Some were on 1st floor and some were on the 3rd floor. They asked for extra towels and were yelled at by managment and given holey towels. Then they overcharged all of my guests!!! None of them had the locked in price on my contact!! Some were charged $139.00 and some $149.00. I repeatedly showed the manager my contract for $129.00. Was told by the front desk girl Bill couldnt come out of his room to talk to me cause he was busy and that she couldnt do anything for me about the price but I could come back the next day and deal with it!!! I said NO that I was giving a party and he should fix it before they checked out!! Manager Bill yelled at my 70 year old mother when she asked for the over charge to be refunded. He told she was lucky she got that room and that it was a $179.000 room and she should be greatful. Her room phone didnt work, she was placed in a handicap room (not in my contract block of rooms) also was placed next to a man who yelled and pounded on the walls all night only to be told by Bill the manage that this man lives there and he is a drunk and he passes out so thats why his tv was loud all night and she was lucky she got that room because it was all he had left. REALLY?? I had reservations made since last year. My mother was scared of this man pounding on her walls but couldnt call because her phone didnt work. She told the front desk boy the next day and he told her this man lives there!! My sister was questioned about how many people she had in her room and the manager yelled and told her she never told him she had 4 people in her room (uhm she booked it with 4) . My cousin was questioned about her 3 small children as to why she had them in her room without telling him. SERIOUSLY!!! I had to leave my daughters graduation party twice to try resolve this issue. Both the managers Bill and Bob are RUDE and should NOT BE RUNNING THIS HOTEL!! This hotel is gonna be run in to the ground with these two in charge. I know this is long but everyone needs to know if you think about staying here....

We booked a block of rooms for our Wedding with them as it was the only hotel left in the area. If we booked a certain number of rooms they would provide a shuttle for our guests. When asked for a list of guests they didn't include guests staying more than 1 night so we didn't reach our shuttle limit when we probably did have enough rooms. When asked about their shuttle service they couldn't provide us any details and had the audacity to ask us to change the time of the shuttle to accommodate check in when we already had our ceremony time in place. We didn't get the number of rooms so we went ahead and used Dousman transportation and had great service and communication with them. Some of our guests didn't get the correct rooms rate and they are overpriced rooms in general. There is nothing special about the rooms. Clean. We had a king bed with 4 standard pillows and no extra. The light in the bathroom kept flickering. When we left in the morning the front desk person was having a conversation with a gentleman who was asking questions about check in time for his wedding guests. We overheard the front desk guy say loudly, "why do you have so many questions about check in?". And then he proceeded to call us out and ask what time he let our guests check in. If I could give a zero star rating I would! I stayed for a, friend's wedding which they ( $200) raised rates I assume since they blocked it so many rooms( figures) and such a basic room with a television way to small for the size. But the real reason im giving such a low rating is, I left behind my brand new 10 foot charging cord and cube for my cell phone. I called to see if they could ship it to me which I would pay for. The manger answered and said they didn't find one. I told him exactly where it was left and he was sure nothing was there. He said he was in the room when they cleaned it, not sure why he would be there and not at the front desk. But anyway I said I went straight from the hotel to my home and I didn't have it so it has to be there. And he still denied that it was. It was a very nice long cord, I get it! But it's mine and I Wanted it back( kinda expensive) for a cord. All im saying is if you leave something there kiss it good bye! Imagine if it was jewelry or a wedding band. Consider it gone!!! Something so petty. It's principle to me at this piont. I left it there and I wanted it back, super simple. I will never go back. They can not be...
