Chopsticks — Restaurant in Waterford

From this moment forward, I will no longer take anything people say in reviews seriously. This was THE MOST DISGUSTING “CHINESE” food we’ve ever bought!!! I say bought, because it is inedible!!! I do not know where else these people who have rated this place highly, 4-5 stars, have eaten, but they have definitely not eaten even good, much less, excellent Chinese food. I realize that all Chinese restaurants in America are “Americanized”, so we’ll just get that out front to start with. This restaurant is nasty no matter how you want to classify it. My husband and I have always loved Chopsticks! The best Chinese ever, never greasy as some places are. However ordered this week our usual dinner and the containers shrunk in size, less main ingredients and prices are higher. Usually we have enough for leftovers for lunch, but now with smaller containers, no more leftovers. Disappointed and hopefully bring back the original containers that they had for many years. Also less shrimp in my husbands and my mixed vegetables had like 4 tiny pieces of broccoli for vegetables. I can’t remember the last time I had such a disappointing meal. The food was terrible, and I had to wait a very long time for it. I understand that there are many orders, but still, the price of one dish was around $20. Everything was served in plastic containers with plastic spoons and forks, which was a disaster for such a price. I understand that everything is expensive, but if someone wants to cook well, they should at least try to make it taste good and not give people food poisoning, because they could end up in jail.
