We are repeat campers and called last minute and were thrilled to be able to book a site. Was not aware of the no visitors rule so called and was told Friday was ok but not the Memorial Day Weekend. Ok we worked with this and when our daughter arrived on Friday, were given a hard time and made to feel terrible feeling we would have to send her away. Communication was lacking for sure. ||We got through that but will think twice before booking again since the noise of dogs barking constantly was too much to take. Stayed inside our motorhome with A/C running to drown out the dogs barking. Other non-dog owners around us concurred that the non-stop barking of uncontrolled dogs was a real problem. Even talking with owners of "controlled and well mannered" dogs who agreed that this was a very unpleasant experience. Not sure how to fix this other than segregating dogs to a particular area or segregating us non dog owners to a particular area. ||You have a beautiful and well kept campground that we have always enjoyed and hope to return to again in the future, especially if something is done about the dogs out of control. We actually had a seasonal site at Seaview South for many years and appreciate the hard work of the whole family. ...

Our transient site was relatively dry and level (dirt/gravel), but all the sites around us were extremely muddy and campers left huge ruts up to a foot deep getting in and out. If I would have been directed to one of those sites, we would have left. My 15,000 pound rig would have sunk to the axles. The park is otherwise beautifully groomed and clean; the seasonal residents have gorgeous sites. We wanted to have a campfire, but the mosquitoes were ferocious and swarmed us whenever we disturbed the grass. Our site backed up to a tiny creek and fence row beyond which was a condo complex- one resident there let his two dogs stand 20 feet from our rig's back and bark non-stop. The surrounding area is accessible via bicycle for exploring. The view of the sea is actually a marsh. If you travel as nomads without hard reservations, sometimes it is an adventure.......
Read moreThe good: Sites are grass/dirt/gravel. One of the first we've had that is dead flat before putting our levelers down. Cable is excellent. Spacious. Near a very busy road but surprisingly quiet. Utilities are fine. Large, lovely, pool. Fairly shady with trees all around. Clean. Of the "250 sites" promoted, only 46 are daily. The rest are full timers who keep very nice properties.||The less good: Internet is horrible. ATT hotspot was weak but usable. Given the construction of the pads there is a lot of grit that gets tracked into your RV. This place is very expensive for what it offers versus others available. I was really irritated upon check-in to be told that a car being towed is an additional $5 per day, even though the car was listed when we reserved the spot. Seems like penny pinching for no good reason. Of course $5 is not a lot of money but the idea of it on top of $75 per night didn't sit well with me. We camped at Sea-Vu Campground in...
