Las Olas Taqueria — Restaurant in Wells

I have been coming here since they opened. Quality and service used to be absolutely the best. I have always tipped high and told people about the delicious food (especially the chimi). But over the last couple of years this has declined greatly. Orders arent always right, items missing, sloppy presentation.

Currently with COVID i have used the curbside ordering. So far 3 out of 3 times i have been stuck in my car waiting for upwards of 20 minutes before i have to either call and ask or i have to find a mask and go in. Keep in mind i show up and park in front 15 - 20 minutes after placing my order. So we are talking about a 35 - 45 minute time from placing order to actually getting the food. Gave you the benefit of the doubt the first 2 times because i know how busy yall get. But this time i went in and saw 3 employees not currently helping customers and yet not paying attention to the people parked in curb side....

Extremely disappointed. Waited a little bit which wasn’t a problem since it’s a Saturday night. My boyfriend ordered 4 things and when going to pay asked a worker if you guys still had chips and queso, her response was “can you wait a minute, you have four things going right now.” Sorry but that’s not how you talk to a customer. Ate in our car which was fine, opened my quesadilla to find it soaking in the pineapple salsa sauce (no draining?) went to get into the chips and queso and the chips were severely over cooked and couldn’t even eat them. Ate my taco and the first bite I took the steak was so over cooked and had pieces of black chard on it and it was absolutely disgusting. Also didn’t have sour cream or cheese which I asked for just a pound of Aioli. Extremely disappointed as this place use to be so great, whoever the manager is now really needs to retrain the workers in good...

Amazing food, but I am highly disappointed with my service. I am a student at the local high school and I have no place to go as I wait for my baseball practice, so I figured I would go here and see if I could watch the Red Sox game. I walk in and they finish my food and I ask if the young woman serving me could turn the TV to the game, and she gave me a terrible tone and told me that she couldn't turn it. I though ok no wonder,walked to the end seating where the TV is and see they get ESPN. So I went up and asked if she had a TV remote I could use to see if I could click the channels over, and with an even worse tone the young woman snarled at me. As I write this review I am eating my meal, and whenever she goes around to clean a table, she gives me a terrible look. I ask that this location please would improve their service, as their food is so good. They just need to fix...
