I've stayed at this hotel before, and it's location near family and I-95 is very convenient. That being said, when we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted with a completely trashed lobby which was undergoing a remodel. The floor was wet from the water they were using to remove the tile cement, and everything was covered in plastic, including the check in desk. It was cold outside, and I'm guessing that as part of the remodel they couldn't heat the lobby. We found our way to the room, and it too was very cold. We cranked the heat up as high as it would go, and hoped for the best. By the next morning the room was livable, and at that point I opted to take a shower. The best I could get was lukewarm water, and on the second day of our stay I called the front desk to let them know there was no hot water and I then let it run for 15 minutes before it was warm enough. When we checked out, the person at the front desk told me that they had a new 500 gallon water heater, and since our room was at the end of the line it would take longer to heat up. I had a similar issue in my house and I installed a hot water recirculation loop. They might want to consider a similar option to avoid wasting water. In summary as a Diamond member this was far from acceptable, and perhaps the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Happy 22nd anniversary honey! I'll try and do better next time.

can i just say that i have never left a review ever in my life, but this little inn has absolutely stolen my families heart. It can be stressful when you travel with your family, especially with children, and the employees at this hotel made me and my family feel so welcome from the minute we walked in, to the time we checked out. at every step of our stay we felt like we were visiting our own family. when we arrived Steve at the front desk welcomed us warmly and then won my kids hearts by giving them treats (who doesn't like treats?), and shakher making sure we had what we needed in the room, to our housekeeper Toni who always made our room fresh and clean. to the entire staff at best western my family says thank you for giving us such a wonderful stay during such a troubling time for my family. you made us feel welcome and safe and we cannot thank you enough. the hotel is undergoing renovations which are fantastic, but i notice the old pictures are still posted.i will add some pics that we took during our stay to give people and idea how things are currently. again, thank you best western. we never met mohamed but we hope he appreciates his staff and their dedication. sincerely, the nelson family.

Front desk does nothing about loud parties in the lot from the resident unhoused. Every night was loud people walking down the hall talking on speakerphone and blasting music. My first impression was also awful, the owner calls about my card declining after a fraud alert (I had just paid in Ohio at another BW) and now he was running in RI well anyway apparently since they house the unhoused if I didn’t have a card for him right then my reservation was to be canceled. I see this place going downhill quick based on recent reviews. Hopefully BW corporate can turn them around…. I would not recommend this location… Bottom line is regardless of if it is homeless or construction workers you are allowing rude and obnoxious behavior at this location. The rooms stink of old food and the employees are rude and could care less if there is an issue. Just see the voicemail left after they read the complaint. It’s all just surface level lip service

I had rented a hotel room on a Saturday night for a noise-free environment and the hotel was quite the opposite of what I was expecting. People were very loud and partying at night. I could not even sleep. Besides, there were multiple problems with the hotel room itself: initially I was given the wrong key for the hotel room and had to go back to the receptionist to inform him of the issue; then there was the problem of the TV remote not working and had to call the receptionist again. Also one of the lights was out in my room. This was not all, however. I went to go use the pool and the jacuzzi and the fans had been turned off the whole time and the smell of the chlorine that they put in the pool was very high. I had watery eyes from the chlorine and they had turned the fans off to put out the chlorine smell. This was the first night that we tried to do it and we could barely stay there for ten minutes and then I went and reported it to the receptionist. I was told that somebody had turned off the fans and that was it.

Then the next morning we went to use the pool and jacuzzi again and the issue was the same with the overwhelming smell of chlorine in the pool and jacuzzi. Now I had realized that it wasn't just the fact that last night the fans were off which was why there was so much chlorine smell. It was that they had put way too much chlorine in the pool and the jacuzzi. There were additional problems as well; they gave us dirty and stained towels to use.

There was also a lot of noise in the pool. Ghetto people were there playing rap music, carrying their handy radios with them and blasting out music. It was a very unpleasant experience to say the least, with very lewd people. I also reported this issue to the receptionist with no results. I was only told that they can tell them to turn it down but at the end it will be up to them. So I did not stay long in the pool the second time either and I simply left.

I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. I would much rather pay more and have a pleasant experience than go...

I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone . I stayed there 08-01-2020 and checked out 08-03-2020 . My room number was 205 .... First i want to say how clean the place was . From the lobby it smelled good and looked nice the floors looked polished there was no candy wrappers or any trash on the floor it was well kept as well as the hallways were VERY CLEAN as well and both the lobby and hallways smelled good like refreshing. When i got to my room the room was very clean . It had a microwave and a mini refrigerator which was brand new And modern and still had the plastic on it , i checked all the drawers and they were all clean nothing left behind . The room smelled good and was very clean . The ac worked very well i had no issues with anything . And even during this pandemic they had the pool open but by the way the hotel was kept and clean i had no issues and felt confident enough to go in the pool . Then again with all the chemicals and clorine people use in pools why should u even have to worry . The pool was clean , water was see thru to the bottom of the pool very clear n was not dirty . All in all i rate this a 5 out of 5 stars and I WILL BE GOING BACK NEXT WEEKEND AND MIGHT ACTUALLY START MAKING IT AN EVERY WEEKEND THING . Might even stay there for a week or 2 . All in all i had a great experience and im glad i choose them . Will be going back this weekend . Great staff and even the manager i spoke with myself n he was an amazing guy very kind and polite n was willing to help me out with whatever i needed . Even the outside of the hotel was well kept and very clean this will be my new go to hotel from now on even the cleaning ladies in the morning was very nice to . At the end of the day i just had an amazing experience i have not witnessed or encountered any other problems like the negative reviews below said and i was just there so if your thinking about going this is the place to go and do not have any hesitation just book the room i promise ull have a...

We were quoted one price on the phone, and when we got there, we were charged sixty dollars more. The amazing part was we were at the gas station right beside the hotel, when we called. We drove right over and the night manager was checking me in. He received a phone call while he was putting my information in and told me The price is now 200.00 dollars. I said you quoted me 139.00 less than five minutes ago. He said the owner just called me and said I had to charge you 200.00 instead. The check in time was over 30 minutes. I was told they got a new computer system. We were so tired we did end up spending a night there. I went down first thing in the morning to talk to the owner, and he was not going to be until monday. I was told he would call me on monday. He called me ,listen to my concerns. Then he explained why he changed the price. I explained that if you go to a grocery store and a price Is marked one way and you get up to the register And they realized it was marked wrong, You would get it for that price. I said you know I was quoted 139.00. I even explained that there was a sign in my room that gave the price of a 139.00,149.00 or 159.00. He told me that was not for a weekend, and he was charging more. He also reassured me that there were no other rooms in rhode island that night if I would have looked so I was lucky to be in his hotel. If you want to pay extra|This is your hotel!! I even called best western themselves and they said I would have to deal with the owner of this facility. Do not stop here!! To top it off the continental breakfast eggs were so wet rhet were disgusting. The room was in...
