I stayed at this peaceful motel for a period of 21 days during these strange times. Right away I was met with a smile and a surprising level of professional accommodation. Mosin took my largest suitcase up a flight of stairs. I told him, “Oh you did that by yourself?! I would have met you halfway!” He helped me when I accidentally locked my door with the security hardware once too, and wasn’t even annoyed! He’s a truly nice guy. All of the staff at this location are friendly, helpful and sweet. Tammy is the sweetest one! Best smile. (I don’t mean to play favorites!) I felt at home. I was surprised the room looked so clean and modern (as does the rest of the motel) with a beautiful wooden desk complete with an office chair. Last time I came to this motel, it had been with an out of state partner in 2015. The place seems updated with gorgeous wall art. Bed, pillows and blankets were so comfortable and soft, so was couch. Slept on both! Never had any cleanliness issues. Housekeeping was on point. (TIP: They do vacuum around 9:30-10 a.m.!) I got a good night’s rest every night. No noise complaints. Christine at the desk informed me they make conscious choices about guest placements which is awesome. I had access to a nice flatscreen TV and watched many Christmas movies. Good channel selection! Mini fridge and convenient coffee maker were in great working order. (Housekeeping restocked cream, sugar and coffee, wow!) (TIP: There is WiFi that works well here, just be aware that sometimes you will lose connection after you are inactive or time has passed. I’m a geek so I know the easy fix–go to settings in your phone, tap super 8, choose forget this network, then reselect super 8 again and tap the boxes on the screen, there’s no annoying password!) It’s easy to nitpick any place you stay at. I could do that. But I find it hard to honestly complain about anything at this Super 8. It’s very affordable to boot, in comparison to other options in the area. I’d highly recommend this location to families and anyone!

Overall should be 1.5 stars. Pictures in listing are not reflective of our room. The room is very dark, mainly because of the paint and the décor. There is a lot of dark colors including an almost mahogany colored bathroom. The bathroom door was clearly replaced and was a misfit. There was a clear gap the entire height of the door and the door jam. The bathroom toilet holder was broken, with the one post missing. The toilet paper roll was standing alone on the side of the tub. The internet promised was a total failure. The link connected and then consistently dropped due to lost signal and interruptions. This was addressed the next AM by resetting their system, which improved the connection a bit but did not resolve the issues. They continued. The "free breakfast" included was I guess technically met, but it was very disappointing and very short on selection/variety. They have 2 cereal options in turn handle dispensers. They have 3 bread options: english muffin, day old bagels and white bread, with toaster provided.  A 2 section warmer was on the counter with only one side carrying product, some form of manufactured egg rounds. Yogurt was also available with whole apples. The other side of the warmer was always empty. MISSING were two very important items that I have not seen missing at any other "breakfast" provided hotel. There was no waffle/pancake making unit and there was no meat item at all in the warmer. Coffee and juice machine were provided. The desk person was nice and receptive, but said no meats, waffles or pancakes. Recommended Best Western next door if wanted a standard breakfast experience. Seriously??????

Disabled Veteran Here GM Rohit Patel refuses to adhere to ADA Laws on Service Animals while increasing the stress and anxiety levels to this Disabled War Veteran. The Hotel denied me my original non-smoking king bed room due to I have a service animal because they don’t allow pets on the 2nd floor and put me in a room that smells like a chain smoker has been here. They also tried to charge me a pet fee and after an hour of going back and forth and letting them know it’s against Federal Law to charge a pet fee for a Service Animal they finally checked me in. It is also against Federal Law to be Denied any type of room for having a Service Animal. As a Disabled Veteran I shouldn’t have to be going through situations like this. A Service Animal is a Medical Device and should be allowed in all rooms no matter what the hotel policy is. If another person were to stay with a required medical machine like a sleep apnea machine are the guest going to be denied a certain room or be charged to have that device in the room? No, so I shouldn’t have to jump hurdles in order to be were I’m legally able to be. This Hotel and employees need to know ADA Federal Law so other Disabled Personnel won’t have to go through the same thing I have gone through. Just spend the extra $4 a night and stay at the Best Western right next door. Don’t waste your time. U.S. Air Force / Army Disabled VET RET

Let me start by saying that I have stayed at other Super 8’s and have had excellent experiences. However, my husband and I are extremely dissatisfied by our recent stay. Upon arriving at about 7pm to check in, my husband checked in with a friendly front desk person and his first impression of the lobby was positive. However, that's where it started and ended. We noticed that numerous rooms seemed to be occupied by long term tenants (most likely living there) and that impression was concerning. However, we went into it with open minds, THE FIRST ROOM we received was like walking into a dank, musty room and appeared very dirty, dusty and maybe a little outdated still. Several lights did not work which we could have dealt with UNTIL my husband decided to go grab ice and picked up the ice bucket that was still full of leftover water from previous guests (I hope), he went to the sink to dump it out and it went into the sink and then right out onto the floor. He discovered that the sink was cracked and leaking dramatically. He went to the front desk to get a new room as that was awful. They immediately apologized and moved us but literally gave the impression they knew nothing about it. |The second room wasn’t much better. My husband did a quick inspection for moving in and thought it was “okay”. Well, we unloaded our car for the 2nd time and started getting settled in. Same thing, upon opening the door that same dank, musty room smell hit me. At this point I assumed this was the norm so I went with it. Upon closer inspection, the floor(s) were dirty and sticky, the bathroom had some black mold on the ceiling, the shower looked like it had been burned or melted in spots and just unclean, there was a film or something on the tv (which we couldn’t get to work) and everything just seemed unclean. It seemed the beds were the only thing that was clean. Trying to find plus for my c-pap machine proved to be interesting since there wasn’t one near the nightstand, which I wish I hadn’t moved due to debris of sorts behind it. I had to go without it. I have never been in a hotel/motel room that made me run out and get MY OWN Cleaning supplies. Unfortunately, due to the hour that had to wait until the next day. |Now, as far as the neighbors were concerned in this new area, also seemed to be long term residents, knocking on doors all hours of the night and just randomly “lurking” outside. ||We had already paid and committed as we were attending an event in the area, along with 2 other couples who also stayed at this location and had the same experience. However, this was a place we would have left in an instance. After cleaning our own room it was more manageable and put us at ease in the room at least but that is uncalled for. I am more than embarrassed that we recommended the hotel/motel to our friends and we will not be returning to this location again. Very frustrating to say the least! Not worth the money at all and EXTREMELY upset about this experience. I did reach out to Wyndham Corporate and was told I would be contacted by the hotel staff for a resolution and I only received a very generic, automated email from the hotel. Not happy to...

On Friday night July 11, 2025 we had a family emergency that required travel to Providence, RI and hence needed an overnight stay in Providence. I am not familiar with the area and as opposed to going directly to a hotel/motel , I searched in Expedia. Room availability was limited and not many options available. I narrowed the Expedia recommendations down to 2 motels that were in the price range of 200-260 and decided to go with the Super 8 by Wyndham West Greenwhich as it was 20 minutes from the address we were visiting. The price however for a room with two double beds at Expedia was $322 plus tax totaling $363.92. Faced with the situation at hand and comparing the Super 8 vs Motel 6 which was $200 decided on the Super 8 because photos of property and room looked decent and as per description appeared we would be getting our moneys worth. I did not have much time before bed to made a decision that Friday night as we had to head out early. I was able to check in online via a link sent to my phone which was great as we had to tend to family emergency and I was not able to get to Super 8 until almost 10pm Saturday evening. The front desk clerk was very nice and provided room keys and information. However when we checked in to the room we were in for a long night. It was not what I had expected . The air smelled of mold, and felt damp in the room. There were gnats in sink and bath tub, mold around the tub, wall where bath faucet fixtures are busting loose. Towel bar holder was spackled over paint. Light fixture above sink outdated, filthy. No soap or shampoo in soap dispensers, only 2 tiny bath soaps provided. Pillow filling was busted. Bed mattress in first bed needs to be replaced as well as those pillows. We did not sleep well that night. I reported our discontent with front clerk especially in light of that a room priced for $363.92 should not be in those conditions. He informed me that the rooms for Saturday were priced for $160 which means that I paid more than double for that disgusting room. He told me to follow up with Expedia which I did, however Expedia told me I should be instead working with Super 8. Meanwhile it was Expedia who quoted the higher price. Long story short, I learned a lesson here to take time and do research before booking a room in future and never through Expedia. This...
