We will not be going back to this "Pinch A Penny" again. We wasted our time and money dealing with these idiots. They have several people working who have no clue what is going on. They didn't have the cartridge we usually get so they upsold us one that was double the price indicating that they don't make our original any more. (Which they still do.) They said we needed to have them order us a new lid to fix an issue we were having with our filter. OK, great. They give us a price. We leave, think about it and call them and agree on ordering the lid. Then they add $20 to the price. OK, whatever. They say it will be in sometime Monday and will call when it comes in. Monday comes and they don't call. We call later and the lid was there. Go in Tuesday to get the lid and they bring out a lid for a totally different filter! We show them again, the filter we have and the idiot says, we sell just the nob for that lid and have it in stock. Not sure why they didn't tell us that to begin with. Either they have no idea what is going on or they wanted to make money off the lid and when they ordered the wrong one, decided to tell us about just the nob? Read moreI am leaving this review solely on my experience with Iris in the store and for Monty that manages our pool service. We’ve had our account for a couple of years, roughly 5 months ago this location went through a lot of transition and we were extremely unhappy that our pool fell through the cracks and turned green and nasty due to whatever was going on with the management there. Anyhow, eventually I spoke to Iris who was able to sort out what happened and she had Monty (the area pool manager) start taking care of our pool right away to get it back on track. Monty is the BEST, he has such integrity, our pool looks consistently pristine and feels great! This is the best maintenance since we’ve been a customer. If it weren’t for Iris’s pleasant customer service and Monty’s integrity with maintaining our salt water pool, we would have cancelled when our pool started to go downhill because of the previous management I’m assuming. Tech. came out for service call asked to replace a pool light told us that it was unable to replace it due to the age. After explaining we had a friend replace it 2 years ago he said it would need to be special ordered, he would order it and get back to us the following week. After not hearing back we called the store the manager Ricky told us he would be out the following day. We waited the entire day they never showed. Called the store told the manager would call us. NEVER called! Kept calling with no return calls from the manager or tech. Had a friend come over take the light out for us, found the bulb at another pinch a penny. WAS NOT EVEN A SPECIAL ORDER!!!! Talked to the manager Ricky after who then suggested he would write a false receipt up for us that they fixed the light. WORST STORE! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! WILL NEVER GO BACK...
