Woodburn Inn — Hotel in Woodburn

It's about what you would expect, looking from the outside, the inside of the room that we had was fairly clean. Very basic amenities, only 1 coffee serving for the four nites we stayed. Might have got more if I remembered to ask. They will give you fresh towels when you ask for them but trying to get somebody at the front desk and even on the phone is basically non-existent. I tried to call to extend the stay when I found out I needed more time but nobody would answer, so I had to go up there and hunt someone down to pay for a few extra nights, but once you find them they are very nice and accommodating. My bad for leaving my recyclables on the floor in a plastic bag by the door; they probably thought it was trash so they took them. I shouldn't mention what I found in the toilet tank wedged in there... somebody probably forgot but it could have gotten me arrested so I'm glad I found it and took it to the dumpster. There are some creepy people outside at night; one guy dove behind the dumpster right as I was opening the motel door, I guess he was hoping I wouldn't see him but I don't know why he was hiding, Another guy was passed out leaning up against a parked car for a couple hours in the early dark morning. Take your valuables inside with you, don't leave them in the car. It seems like the better of the 2 shabby motels in town. You're gonna hear music from the bar across the street all night long and the traffic noise comes through the window as if it's opened...

1st room 104- people smoking/talking & car trafficall night long. Told owner to get me new room. Said he didn’t have any, I said fine refund! He said he didn’t know if the “owner” would let him refund. I told him no problem I’d contest the charge on my credit card. He suddenly found a new room (unfortunately) 2nd night/Room 120- hair in sink, bath window is see-thru AND doesn’t lock; had to block with coat hanger. No working light next to bed. No coffee pot. Remote does t turn TV on/off. Urine on toilet. Stains on carpet & bedsheets/mattress. Owner acted like he didn’t know any of this when I told him. Worst $50 I’ve spent on...

• Do NOT stay here. * The room smelled of smoke, even though it was to be non-smoking. There were no towels in the room to even take a shower. That is just a few things. When reporting to management, they offered to get towels at that time, but seeing I was already leaving.. they did not bother to offer any other way to make up for the Lack of Service. If you want to take a chance on smelling like smoke that is not yours, and Not Being Able To Shower in July, this is probably the place for you. Plus the room was $90. Spend the extra cash for a decent room. Just...
