Mid Valley Community Church — Attraction in Woodburn

Where do I even start? I've attended this church for 11 years, 1/3 of my life and it has shaped who I am. They have walked through some of the hardest trials with me and been supportive and loving the whole way. They've celebrated life's joys as well and prayed for me fervently. The people are authentic. The teaching is biblical and solid. The hospitality is real. The worship is meaningful. The staff is kind and become family.

I'm saddened to see some of these negative reviews. I'm 33 years old and can definitely attest that this is NOT a church for old people. There is a healthy mix of all generations and backgrounds...and I think the children's church having 40-50+ kids every Sunday can testify to it's growth as well.

Unfortunately there have been a few folks who have left this church disgruntled. To which I would just say, perhaps some need to take a look at the plank in their own eye before inspecting the speck in someone else's. I think people need to find a new hobby instead of leaving negative reviews on google....thus encouraging the mindset that Christians can't get along. I'll be praying for your hearts...

Mid Valley is my home, my family. I have been attending church here for almost 17 years. We have struggled well with life together...we have seen many joys and have experienced some trials as well, together. At times, this church family has been closer than my biological family, and like a family, there are times when we do not always get it "right," but we are in it together. I have been blessed by having others come alongside me in the congregation, and I have been able to bless others as well.

The fellowship is sweet, the worship authentic, and the bible teaching solid. If you are searching for a home church, I would recommend stopping by any Sunday morning for a visit and checking it out...you will not be...

First off, the congregation of the church is fantastic. A very welcoming church with very nice people. With that being said, my main complaint would be with the lead pastor. He seems to lack humility, even when he makes horrible decisions that affect other people's lives. At one point he sent my wife a link to a medical facility in Tijuana, as he felt our son needed to lose weight.
