We had 3 nights in Tashkent, and on the first night we arrived early in the morning - around 5 or 6 a.m. The reception staff is available around the clock, which is very encouraging. The breakfasts are pretty good, although most of the food is very greasy. But in any case, you can have a good meal and stay well-fed until lunch. You can take drinking water at the reception, but it is not brought into the room. There are tea bags in the kitchen, and 4 tea bags are also left in the room when checking in. The room is spacious. We had a kind of round bed, but it was quite comfortable to sleep on it. The room was clean, everything was working, including the air conditioner. There is a normal pressure in the shower, nothing leaks, hot and cold water are regulated normally. The room also had about 6 towels for two people, 2 bottles of shampoo, solid soap and two toothbrushes. It would also be good to have a hygienic shower, as well as a couple of additional hangers. The kettle and refrigerator were working fine and were very useful to us. The location is not bad. You can get to the center by Yandex Taxi for 3-4 dollars. There is a Makro supermarket and a Mazzali cookery within a 10-minute walk, where you can eat cheaply. Another big advantage for the hotel is that they were allowed to use their iron in the laundry room. You can also heat up food in the microwave and eat in the kitchen at any time. However, there was nowhere to wash the dishes after myself - I had to take them with me in the room and wash them with ordinary soap. We had a swimming pool next to the room. The water is quite cold there, but in the heat conditions in Tashkent, this is probably even an advantage rather than a disadvantage. We went swimming a couple of times, we enjoyed it. The water looked clean. The room was paid by card. Keep in mind that contactless payment (Apple Pay or any other) does not work here - you need a physical card. There is also a single disadvantage associated with the pool, which did not allow the hotel to be given 5/5. As I wrote earlier, our room was right next to the pool entrance. And it periodically turns on the filtration system. The reception said it was impossible to turn it off. And one night we couldn't sleep until 1 a.m because of the noise from the pool. And since the sound insulation in the room is not the best, then naturally we heard all these gurgling sounds in the water. As a result, if you check in here, then ask for a room not next to the pool. It may not be as audible on the upper floors, but on the ground floor next to the pool, the audibility is very good. In general, I can confidently recommend this hotel. In terms of price and...
Read moreI am very disappointed with my booking. I arrived 8.30 pm and informed that my room have electrical and water problem. They just moved me to the other hotel across the street with less facilities. The hotel was awful. They did not inform me at all, even though they did text me today at 1 pm asking the time of my arrival. I was expecting to rest in bigger room, bigger bed with other facilities that i already booked. This is very unacceptable. But then i do not have choices since i arrived pretty late at 8.30 pm. Then i checked out next day early morning. They cannot accept card...
Read moreHad a wonderful stay at Ak Saray Hotel! The staff were really friendly and helpful, but still professional. They sorted out my airport transfer and even helped me book a taxi when I left, which made everything super easy.
The room was huge and super clean, and the Wi-Fi was reliable, which is always a plus when travelling. There’s also a small pool outside - nice touch for unwinding.
The hotel’s on a quieter backstreet, but honestly, for the price, it’s such great value. Definitely recommend if you’re...
