Mirabad Bazaar — Local services in Tashkent

I really liked it. Easy to walk there from my hotel, much smaller and less hectic than Chorsu. It's mostly food here, with a few stalls with cheap modern clothing outside. I bought some great-tasting walnuts, herbs, tea...prices were more than fair and I think cheaper than Chorsu where there is a lot of ready-packaged stuff at touristy prices.

The general area is very nice and pleasant to walk in, quite upmarket, with some great restaurants and cafes. There are also nice hotels in the side...

Very nicely displayed. Every thing that can be used in kitchen is available here and very neatly displayed no clutter at all. Very huge market yet very peaceful. One can insist on his/her suitable rates and can negotiate accordingly. fresh fruits, vegetables and other herbs are very readily available here in this market.
