Being little late on my review but could not move on without sharing about my fascinatingly superior experience at this hotel. I've enjoyed several nights at this hotel throughout months of August and September, enjoyed amenities, service and I actually felt the spectacular home away home ambiance created by hosts of this hotel. Let me begin by delivering my tremendous appreciation towards the front desk staff of the hotel. Few names to mention here are front desk front desk representatives Nigina and Mirjavlon who helped and made my check in experience easy and pleasant, and of course front desk manger Nigina who always went above and beyond to create that special environment based on my unforeseen needs such as getting a conference room for my business calls at 10 o'clock at night, special amenities to apricate my loyalty and Titanium status up on check in and many many more. Front desk staff you guys were truly professional! Moving swiftly on, throughout my stay, majority of my time I was spending at the restaurant or at the lounge on the 7th floor. Speaking of food quality whether it was breakfast or dinner, myself and my guests were always impressed with vibrant and delicious options on the menu. I'd like to express my special thanks and limitless appreciation to F&B staff including: F&B Director Elizaveta and her truly amazing colleagues Nodira, Rustam, Kseniya and very special thanks to Ulugbek and Khojakbar and great mixologist Sherali who were personally assisting me and my guests in numerous occasions. I do apologize for not mentioning other names because there many others who were truly exceptional and great but I couldn't remember all their names. You guys were not just good, you guys were excellent, creative, motivated, enthusiastic and it took the experience and satisfaction to the whole another level. Such a great team! And many thanks to GM of this hotel Alexander, for putting together such a great team and managing this property exceptionally well. Best service, best amenities, best overall experience and that's what Marriott is all about. Thank you...
Read moreWe stayed there for 2 nights in early May. This Courtyard, open in December 2020, is the only Marriott affiliated hotel in Uzbekistan. It is kept well. The decor is contemporary. Like other Marriotts, the beds are quite comfortable. We also order a late night room service. The club sandwich was pretty tasty. 1 night was booked under my travel companion, who is the gold member, and was offered a tray with varieties of local snacks.
The location is quite close to the airport. It was less than $2 USD Yandex Go ride from the airport. But the surrounding is more like a residential area. There are a few restaurants nearby, but you need to walk to the larger street to have more choices. The nearest subway is about 1 mile away. So Yandex Go is probably your best friends for transpiration therie. Yandex Go is so inexpensive anyway.
The staff is especially worth compliments. They tried their best to help you. Special kudos to the supervisor Shukhrat and the trainee Abdurahim. We were to catch the overnight train around 9pm. After a day of sightseeing in Tashkent under the hot weather, we needed a shower to fresh up before we rode the train. Shukhrat helped us access to the shower area of swimming pool. The trainee Abdurahim also did fantastic job helping us using the currency exchange machine. He is always full of smile, which really made you feel welcomed.
Overall, it's a great experience...
Read moreGREAT EXPERIENCE I stayed in this hotel with my son for three days in March 21. I used my BonVoy points, so practically I paid nothing out of pocket for hotel except $20 for tourist Department of Uzbekistan for 2 ppl for 3 nights. The staff were extremely respectful, especially the the night manager and the General Hotel Manager.
The hotel manager, NIGINA ABDULLAEVA, personally welcomed me with an email even before my arrival to the hotel and followed up with well-wishing email upon my departure. She spoke English, Russian, Uzbek, and Tajik. She beat me in every language that take pride for knowing it. I do not speak European language, maybe she knew more of those. The night shift manager that met us on the first night was very polite and helpful and spoke English efficiently.
The hotel was brand new and currently was the only Marriott associated hotel in Tashkent. My suite had two large bathrooms - all modern and everything worked in it. Power outlets were Europe and US compatible and I did not have any need to buy adapters. Free WiFi was a plus and worked equally strong in every corner of the suite and in common areas.
The bar, restaurant, pool, spa, gym, and other common areas were very clean and modern and everything worked. COVID-19 precautions were taken and the free breakfast had everything that we wished for.
I highly recommend this hotel for...
