Donerci Hamdi Usta — Restaurant in Tashkent

I was waiting to visit this place as soon as it opens. Location is nice, inside is spacious. It is clean and new. However, the atmosphere is below my expectations (the lightning is very poor, and general atmosphere is boring. The furnitures are average, looks more like a place for fast food. It is kind of noisy inside if especially you sit near to the cooking/serving area. I didn't see upstairs as they pointed me and my family to the ground floor. Upstairs may be better! ) The service was very quick They are serving black tea immediately even before the main dish comes which is amazing (this is one of musts of a Turkish restaurant in my opinion). However, the fast service also pressures you (you feel it) to eat and leave asap as well. So it is not a great place to enjoy your meal for a long time with family and friends. The doner was really nice and tasty. I had doner-pilav and my wife got beyti wrap döner. All was very nice. The salad was very simple and not very attracting /fresh. The soup was okay but not great in taste. They didn't serve Ayran which is a must in a doner restaurant. I didn't see şalgam suyu (turnip juice) as well. I would like to visit this place again but not to sit for a meal. I will prefer to buy and leave instead. I hope they can improve and get better since the main dish served...

It was Ramadan time and I was invited here Donerci Hamdi Usta for iftar. I heard a lot positive feedbacks about this place and I finally come here. Well, the food is good, prices are reasonable in compare with others. But the atmosphere (maybe that because of iftar) was like a crowded café. Just come, eat and leave. Too many people, table are close, people speak loud and you can not enjoy your time speaking, resting and eating the meal. The waiters are good, but not excellent, they need more practice. The meals are delicious. They have only 2 types of soups, that is strange. I highly recommend this place if you wanna feel Turkish atmosphere.

They don't offer a variety of meals. These days, they have two types of soup and salad, several dishes which are very similar, and also dessert ( three types of baklava, with chocolate, ice cream and classic one).

The atmosphere is good, I like it. Furthermore workers are friendly and helpful.

FOR ME tea was a little bit bitter, meals are tasty but...
