SCAM!!!! Lost My Deposit to Fake Electricity Charges - Just like many other people as you can see from. Reviews

Avoid this apartment/hotel completely. They tried to charge me 3-5 times the real Vietnamese electricity rate. I was a single person using the AC no more than 10 hours a day, rarely cooking, and out of the apartment for most of the day. There is no way my bill should have been anywhere near what they claimed.

When I questioned it they told me “Next month you should use less electricity” and refused to resolve it. I had no choice but to leave early to avoid being ripped off even more in the future and they kept my entire deposit.

I have attached my final bill which shows they charged me 4,264,000 VND for 1,066 kWh in 30 days at 4,000 VND per kWh. There is no way that I could have used that much electricity in just a single month!

The furniture was also in poor condition and had woodworm. I have lived in Vietnam long enough to know normal rates and this was blatant theft. If you rent here expect fake bills, zero accountability and to lose...

I stayed with two colleagues at the Nam Hotel & Spa for three nights this month and was extremely impressed.||||The staff were great, I was silly enough to leave my passport in the in room safe but when I realised I was already at the airport.||||I called and spoke to the hotel receptionist, she organised for the porter to bring it to the airport and I was comfortably able to make my fligh, I was very appreciative of this!||||The bar upstairs had plenty of cold beer and the view was great.||||Rooms were spacious and well appointed, the bed was very comfortable. I have traveled to Vietnam for about 15 years now and this is possibly the best hotel I have stayed in during that time.||||Just a quick note, breakfast looked to be aimed at the Korean tourists that frequented the hotel. The fruit and continental items were great but the hot items were not something that I would expect at a breakfast.||||Otherwise, perfect! The breakfast comments are just me being fussy.||||I will stay at the Nam Hotel...

I would have rated it a fair 4, if I hadn’t had the massage experience.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Competent staff. Breakfast included. Daily room cleaning. Good price.

Some issues: ocean view mostly is not that much ocean, but you’re located at top flors with a panorama of the city which is not that bad;

massage at the hotel is just poor:

1. the massage itself is 3 out of 5;
2. also it’s very cold there because of AC turned on all the time which is totally wrong and dangerous for clients' health;
3. it’s too overpriced — $35 for 60 minutes plus lots of troubles as a bonus;
4. after the massage the “lady in charge” starts begging for tips and then insists on it if you don’t pay — this is a totally...
