I came here a few times because it’s convenient that it’s close to where i live. I’ve tried the other ramens too but the spicy one is the best tasting one. The others are okay. I’d say the problem may have to do with service. The staff don’t seem very interested with work. Even when i was alone inside, they were very slow with everything. The ramen chef seems to be the owner and the only person interested in the business. I’m sure the ramen would taste better if the service was better attended to.
I’ve also tried their different curry menus. The curry is very mediocre. I’d rather make it myself at home. It tastes very cheap and light in flavor. Very different from traditional Japanese curry flavors.
I’ve tried their sushi boat and the eel rolls. Honestly, I’m never ordering sushi here again. I only ordered the sushi boat because my girlfriend wanted to eat it. To begin, the sushi rice is not standard quality sushi rice. The texture, temperature, and taste is all wrong. The sushi is obviously frozen fish because of the cheaper price.. but they’re not maintained well. The taste feels a bit off and so does the texture. This is a common issue found in frozen fish. And it is easily fixable. But I don’t think the sushi chef knows how to maintain the taste and quality of sushi. Now.. the eel rolls.. seriously way too much sauce. So salty.. and the eels have a very strong fishy smell. It’s very difficult to eat them. I only finished them out of respect but i’m never ordering sushi from here again.
Overall, for me, the spicy ramen is the only meal worth...

Pig Chan Ramen is a true hidden gem that we stumbled upon by sheer accident while wandering down the wrong street. What a lucky mistake it turned out to be! This unassuming little spot served up some of the most delicious food we’ve had in Da Nang.
The tantan ramen was a standout—rich, spicy, and absolutely satisfying. The portion size was incredibly generous for only ₫120,000 (about $7.50 AUD), so much so that I couldn’t even finish it! The gyozas were a perfect accompaniment—lightly crispy on the outside, with a tender and flavourful filling that melted in your mouth.
The service was just as memorable as the food. The lovely lady who served us didn’t speak much English, but that didn’t matter one bit. With smiles, giggles, and plenty of creative communication, we managed to navigate the menu and had such fun along the way. It’s moments like these that remind you how rewarding travel can be.
From such a tiny kitchen, the chef creates dishes that are packed with flavour and heart. If you’re in the area, make the effort to find Pig Chan Ramen—it’s worth every bite. A truly...

My favorite is the beef udon, which has a very beefy, rich, and gingery broth. It's a perfect dish for a rainy day or just when you feel you need some soulful, cozy food. My boyfriend loved the chicken katsu curry too. Big portion and lots of chicken!
All the staff here are so nice and friendly. They really go out of their way to make you feel welcome and to make the best food for you. You can tell they are very hardworking and they care about the restaurant.
We'll come back before we...
