Our family recently stayed at the New Orient Hotel in Da Nang, and it was honestly one of the best hotel experiences we've ever had.||||From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. Check-in was quick and smooth — they brought us welcome drinks while we waited. The receptionists (Mya, Wendy, Hannah, and Lucie) were amazing the entire time we were there. Every request we had was taken care of right away. Mya and Hannah even recommended some local restaurants that ended up being some of our favorite meals on the trip.||||Our suite was perfect for our family of four — clean, spacious, and super comfortable. Housekeeping came every day and kept it spotless. You could tell they really paid attention to the details, and we appreciated that.||||We also had a great time talking to the bellmen — Johnny, Lucas, and Felix. Not only were they helpful with luggage and getting us taxis, but they also took the time to chat with us and play a little with our kids. That meant a lot. Our kids genuinely connected with them and still talk about how kind and funny they were. You could tell they loved what they did and cared about the guests.||||Breakfast at Bistecca was something we looked forward to every morning. The buffet had a ton of variety — everything from local dishes to Western options — and everything was fresh and delicious. We also ate there twice for lunch and tried the pizzas... wow!! It was so good. If you’re staying there, definitely give them a try.||||The swimming pool was a big hit with our whole family. It’s large, very clean, and had a nice, relaxed vibe. Tuấn Anh, who was working poolside, was constantly keeping things tidy — drying the walkways, wiping down the chairs, and making sure everything looked great. The poolside bartender, Minh Trọng, was hilarious and super friendly. He and Trong were both helpful, respectful, and just great to be around. I had fun chatting with them every day.||||The gym wasn’t huge, but it had everything I needed — free weights, a treadmill, clean towels, and cold water. And just like the rest of the hotel, it was spotless.||||There’s also a lovely scent in the lobby — light, clean, and calming. It’s the kind of thing you don’t expect to notice, but once you do, it adds something special to the whole atmosphere.||||What really stood out during our stay was the people. Every single staff member we interacted with was genuinely warm and respectful. It never felt like they were just “doing their job” — it felt like they really cared that we were comfortable and having a good time.||||We’ll definitely stay here again the next time we’re in Da Nang. Huge thanks to the New Orient team for making our trip so special...

Read moreLocated at end of Dong Da, it’s quiet and has beautiful views of city, mountains and river depending on facing. Winmart is a few steps away and Mdm Lan is nearby(though I don’t recommend). Property is about 8yo as of 2025 minus 2y of closure during Covid. Stayed 15nights and it’s like my 2nd home. Balcony on 4th level without chairs and 9th level rooms with. Sufficient lightings and power plugs. Bed comfortable with 2 pillows. Wardrobe is accessible both ways - front and bathroom side(brilliant). Daily provision of bottled water. All other basic amenities are well supplied. Do note that snacks in room and anything in fridge is chargeable. I personally prefer just the shower without the bathtub(premium room). Everything works. Daily housekeeping does an awesome job. Press button next to entrance when you require. There are 2 pools. Level 2 for family with children and rooftop(small)for above 16y. Gym on 2nd level was clean with towels provided. Breakfast spread was good with indoor/outdoor seatings. Though there’s a nightclub next to hotel and a church which sounds bells at 4.30am, you won’t hear a thing if you close the balcony door. From Concierge, Front Desk, restaurant and housekeeping staff, we received excellent service. Special appreciation to Ms Rose, Ms Hanna, Ms Kim Chi and Mr William. Our big surprise was a birthday cake sent to our room as we didn’t inform beforehand and team was sharp-eyed enough to notice. It was delicious and the birthday person finished the whole cake. The handwriting on card is so beautiful - it’ll be kept for life. Enjoyed our stay tremendously and will choose to stay again when I return. Thank you very much. Minor issues:- Welcome ginger drink was way too sweet. Lobby is too heavily perfumed which becomes unbreathable. Morning coffee is very...
