Visited again on July 12, 2025 — actually our third time!
For dinner, we had Asahi beer and red wine, paired with a Caesar salad, mushroom soup, Japanese oysters, ragù pasta, steak, and panna cotta for dessert.
The Caesar salad had fresh, crisp vegetables and a well-balanced dressing. The mushroom soup is best enjoyed while warm — the aroma and richness of the mushrooms fill your mouth.
Right after that, we had fresh Japanese oysters. They were large, creamy, and incredibly satisfying. The lemon juice and finely chopped onions complemented them perfectly.
The ragù was tender and flavorful, and the steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare. Both dishes paired wonderfully with the red wine.
To finish, the panna cotta had a smooth texture and just the right amount of sweetness — a perfect end to the meal.
The ambiance is stylish and relaxed, and the owner is friendly and welcoming. The food and atmosphere make us want to come back again. we’re already looking forward to our next visit!
— June 22, 2025 We had a wonderful dinner here! The lamb chops were perfectly cooked—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The fresh oysters were incredibly smooth and briny, just like the ocean. For dessert, the panna cotta was silky and lightly sweet, the perfect ending to the meal. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a refined yet relaxed dining...

I’m writing this review in hopes that you will find an opportunity to enjoy a fantastic meal at DOM Bistro like my family was fortunate to, on our first trip to Vietnam. Of all the places across the country we tried, this meal stands out as a top, unforgettable experience.
We sampled a few items from each course, and they were all delicious, many in surprising ways. The beef carpaccio was especially fantastic, with a couple of us deciding to get another order of it ‘for dessert’ at the end of the meal. (I think I’d fly back to Da Nang just to eat this dish again, and to try the tuna carpaccio, which is probably similarly incredible.)
The juice drinks are refreshing, and the wine selection is top-notch, likely because the owner Mr. Dang, who we met, has a background in the wine industry. Every aspect of this cozy, boutique restaurant and menu was great to experience, and my family hopes to come back again someday.
Maybe y’all can raise a glass and toast to everyone’s health and good fortune, to cap your own European/Viet/Fusion dining experience. (If you do go, please tell Mr Dang hello from Ken in the...
Read moreA colleague and I were in Da Nang working on a health product donation with the local Rotary Club. Our wonderful Vietnamese friend graciously invited us to DOM the last night we were there. It was a wonderful experience! The food is superb, the atmosphere is intimate and fun. It made me think of a little sidewalk cafe in Paris. If you are in town as a tourist, do yourself a big favor. Get off the beach and make a reservation at DOM. Use GRAB, their rideshare app, and get to downtown Da Nang after dark. The buildings are all decorated in light and color and it is beautiful. We had a chance to briefly meet the owner. He is a wonderfully kind man. Please go and support this small business rather than just spending all your money eating at the hotel restaurants. You will not be sorry. If I lived in Da Nang, I would eat at DOM multiple times a week. Yes, it...
