Green Karst Hostel and bar — Hotel in Đồng Văn Town

Hostel bar plays THE LOUDEST Karaoke until well after midnight. Impossible to sleep, even though we had the furthest away room. Drum and base/Celine Dion all night. No wonder they make you pay upfront, otherwise we would have left and found somewhere else to stay. Seems like a scam in hindsight.

When the music finally did stop, someone turned the washing machine on in the room above our heads. The fan, air con and tv in our room did not work, so there was nothing we could use as white noise to try and block out the chaos. Window above the bedroom door let’s in all the light from the hallway, where the lights aren’t turned off all night, so the room was too bright to sleep anyway.

If they aren’t going to warn people about these conditions then they should at least provide earplugs and masks...

Just an regular hostel I was expecting dongvan as an quiet place and surrounded by the nature but it wasn't like that. It was touristic place and lot of people there. And the hostel is located in the center of the town so it's in a crowded area..of.course it's noisy I Went there bcz I heard that they have a nice rooftop with a great view. So, I thought I could enjoy the view with beer, but it wasn't that nice view and rooftop was so tiny. There is a karaoke restaurant in front of the hostel. Not every day but people sing there from morning until night and most of them are terrible singers. It was very very annoying If u wanna stay at quiet place,...

We stayed there for one night when we drove the ha Giang Loop. First it was not well placed on Google maps so a guy from the restaurant guided us by scooter. The room was okay, just a little overpriced but be didn't want to look further, even if the staff was weird, telling us different things all the time until someone more responsible showed us the room we finally took. IF you like karaoke, Go there. You can be shaked into your dreams by the bass of the karaoke bar which belongs...
