Q Song Chi Hotel — Hotel in Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu Province

I stayed there for 3 nights based on many reviews either on TripAdvisor or Aa, B*g, etc.. and most of them being positive. ||||Based on my stay, I cannot understand why this place would be rated so well. The room is okay but the service is non existent, no English speaking (although I believe they do understand when they want), no guidance or any suggestions about places to eat, things to do or map was provided. ||There's no credit card facilities, the scooter can be hired for 120.000VND/ per day || Better deals around, so do NOT hire it at the hotel, also be aware that some of them come with a fuel tank and other ones almost empty. ||There's no breakfast provided. ||The shower in the room was so weak and there was almost never any hot water during the 3 nights stay (except of one time where the water was boiling hot). The bed is comfortable, there's a fridge but no safe.||||*Ask for a room in the higher floors for more peace and quiet but bare in mind that there's NO lift !!. I stayed on the 4th floor.||||Based on my stay, I would not recommend this hotel: the poor service, the weak shower, no lift (wasn't too much of a problem for me but if you got heavy bags and/ or are an elderly person, this hotel is not a fit). I would definitely not come back...

The hotel was OK. We stayed for 5 nights reasonably comfortably. The bed booked was 2 twins so we pushed together to make a king. The mattress was comfortable. The AC worked. Hot water Shower pressure not great . Very Inconsistent water temperature. Smelly drainage pipes in bathroom. But bathroom extraction ventilators were strong if kept on overnight . No balcony so as the room is pretty basic not much to do if it Rains ( we were there during a storm ) . Our corner room 414 did not have good windows . They leaked water on creating small puddle during the storms despite windows being shut. Luckily only my spare phone battery may have been damaged as it was testing in the window ledge . No shelf or drawer storage for our things . The cleaner comes Round 9:30 every morning. It seemed it would be better to have her come round 12 noon as i heard many other guests asking her to come back later ( including ourselves ) whilst we were out and about . The lift was out of order for 2 days due to the storm , I think. And the fire alarm went off whilst I was having a shower - so I had to evacuate quickly. Slight inconveniences but Staff were friendly & an Altogether OK...

Well, maybe the color of the outside of the hotel is lavender. Whatever - it’s a nice, new looking hotel that still kind of sparkles except that it still has some construction going on and it can get kind of dusty. An initial issue with our room got promptly taken care of - we actually got an upgraded room instead. Very nice people here. The lady at the front desk was very sweet and she had no problem conversing in English with me. The night man and the housekeeper were friendly and they always smiled and greeted me.
