Thanh Hằng homestay — Hotel in Cần Thơ

I stayed 2 nights in this place with my girl friend. The experience was very mixed. The homestay is partially renovated but we stayed in a room that was badly maintained, and even though I am not generally picky about things, there seemed to be a few issues too many to result in a positiv review.

Adventages -Clean surfaces -TV worked (but only in Vietnamese) -Good Location (nearby cafes, shopping mall, super market, warf, etc) -Quit Room -Englisch speaker available

Disadvantages -WLAN was not reliable on one day so I had to use my own mobile phone hotspot -Inconvienent electricity - no light switch near the bed -Bath door does not shut correctly, only when force is applied -Toilete seat is loose -Lizard and ant like bugs can be...

Really loved this stay! We were only in Can Tho for one night and it was between this or another traditional bigger hotel. I’m super glad we decided on this one because it was affordable, high quality and the staff were very kind - way better value for money than if we had stayed at a tourist hotel. Also, there were a lot of nearby places to eat (the bun rieu in particular looked awesome) and drinking water was available. The air con and shower were great as well. My wife and I stayed here 3 nights and like the hotel.. good small fridge and new tv can cast your phone too if you want ... hot water works good and location also good... they kept our moto safe 👏... bed maybe little bit hard for some foreigners just a tip... I recommend if you stay near the river and want a good price try...
