Gia Khanh Hotel, Da Lat — Hotel in Da Lat City

We booked 2 double rooms via Booking.com but it turned out hotel was full... the owner apologised and explained he had forgotten to close rooms online, fair enough, that can happen. He then offered to take us to an other hotel with better rooms and we could have them for the same price, sounded good. Well, when we arrive at this other hotel, it really felt like an other Vietnam rip off. We had booked large rooms with private bathrooms and were offered dirty tiny rooms with shared bathroom... if the owner of Gia Khanh thought those rooms were better than his hotel, we were actually glad he had no more...

Positives: • Price • Located close to restaurants, mini markets, and tourist attractions • I was able to check in early • Have window at room • Has a small table and a cabinet for clothes

Negatives: • They say the external bathroom is private, but you actually share it with other guests • The shower is terrible, with very little water coming out • No cleaning service (I stayed for 7 nights) • Wi-Fi was unreliable at times, averaging 60mbps

Its not the worst but you can find better options in the city for...

me and my girlfriend loved it here! really nice staff, lovely owner and extreamly helpful. its really close to the centre, we could hire a motorbike easy from the hotel and they booked our bus to nha trang for us extreamly easy going stay. Nice new building with lovely bathroom, the only thing to grumble about was the window didn't close properly and it was quite noisy outside but still rating 5* because the staff and hotel wher extreamly...
