Khách sạn Hoàng Minh Châu Bà Triệu Đà lạt — Hotel in Da Lat City

Something made my eyes and skin itch at this hotel. The first room had a serious black mould problem and l asked to move to another room. I didn’t sleep well here due to whatever l seemed to be allergic to! I have travelled all over SE Asia and had not experienced this allergy at any other hotel or home stay. I did notice they are painting rooms on some of the floors probably to get rid of the black mould. The hotel is in a great location close to Night market so lm giving this hotel 3* for a good location. They don’t have AC in rooms so that will contribute to the mould spreading as the rooms would get stuffy with no proper air ventilation. It’s a shame as it’s been a beautiful hotel at some stage. I was there with a tour and had no control over where l was being accommodated in Da Lat. l would not stay again due to whatever made my eyes...

We stayed 4 nights here. Location is ok and the staff are friendly. Thanks, Minh, for the many times we needed help. Mrs Thuy also helped with tours and private-hired transport. Because there wasn't any aircon, we had to open windows and encountered bugs in the room. The staff at the breakfast place were very friendly and helpful too. The french loaf is a favourite in our group. We made our own banh mi every morning. Dalat is hilly, and it was a long and undulatng walk to the night market for the seniors in our group, but luckily it was easy to get Grab to go anywhere...

Excellent location and great value. The staff is very professional and the rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast is quite good and has a fantastic setting on the enclosed rooftop floor.|The negatives are that the rooms can get noisy and there are no international English language...
