I was traveling with family, a group of 10, so we essentially rented out the entire 2nd floor for 4 nights. My mom (in her 70's) and I had a room with 2 queen beds and a wonderful view of the city. One of the rooms with a king bed on the street side was occupied by my cousin and her (adult) daughter. The other by my nephew, his wife and young daughter. Their boys (ages 9 and 13) stayed with their uncle in the middle room that had 3 single beds. |The hotel arranged for a 15 passenger van to pick us up at the airport (30mins) and was available for us as needed each day. The staff and driver were great with local recommendations. They had fruit and food from various local businesses like a place famous for their yogurt.|The entire hotel looks brand new. Everything is modern and clean...... spotless. Western style bathrooms with toilet, sink, and an oversized shower that had a sprayer and rainfall showerhead. Beds are comfortable, AC was more than sufficient. |The location is great. It's a couple blocks from the DaLat Cathedral, the Chicken Church. The city center, lake, flower market, night market; are a 10-15min walk or $1-$2 Taxi/Grab ride away. There is great coffee place right across the street and at the end of the block (towards the city center) are a variety of places where you can eat with the locals. Street vendors selling all kind of local cakes, two bakeries with amazingly fresh and delicious sandwiches and pastries, Tea shops, coffee shops, and small cafes. |We found a great massage place around the corner, Ot (chili pepper is vietnamese). A legitimate massage place: 60min foot massage for $12, full body, Hot stone, aroma therapy were all $15 for 60mins. 90mins was less that $20. We walked there as a group a few times while we were in town. |We had our laundry washed and folded for a few dollars a load.|Some of us had a few late nights out on the town and had no issues getting back to the hotel and getting the staff to let us into our rooms (without our keys).|The Hotel is listed as a 3-star, but this seems low. I have stayed at larger hotels rated at 4 and 5 stars that are not as nice as My Hien. The stay was amazing and we were treated like...
Read moreGreat place. Nice clean rooms. Friendly and helpful staff that treated us like family. We were traveling as a group and rented out most of the second floor for 4 nights. I shared a room with two queen beds with my mother. We had very modern bathroom in our room with an oversized shower. Very nice view toward the church and city from our room. We walked to the night market a few three of the evenings. The cafe across the street and the one a few doors down were both great. There is excellent breakfast foods, bakeries at the end of the block. The hotel arranged airport pick up and drop off for us and loaned a motor bike to nephew to cruise...
