The hotel has a great contemporary design with an open atrium and hanging gardens. Our suite was clean and roomy with a great view over the rooftops of Dalat and to the mountains in the distance. The décor was contemporary and stylish. We asked for an extra comfortable chair to be able to sit at the table and this was delivered immediately. 2 chairs really should be included in a suite and there is plenty of room for them to fit easily.| |There was no walk-in shower, the shower is hand held over the bath which is separated from the bedroom by a curtain. The bath would be difficult for older, less mobile people to get into, but it was OK for us.| |The front desk Manager, Mr Hoang Anh, was very helpful and at the end of our stay organised a very good and reasonably priced driver to take us to Nha Trang on the coast (a 3 hour drive). We also had washing done for a very minimal price, which was returned the same day.| |The hotel breakfast appeared to be catering more for Chinese and Korean tourists, with bain maries of soups and rice dishes. We would have loved some Vietnamese choices such as Pho, and a bigger fruit selection. We ended up only having coffee and toast in the restaurant as we found a great café 50 metres down the road that did a great breakfast selection.| |The location was terrific, on a hill overlooking the town, which was a 20 minute walk down to the Central market and lake area. There are several banks along the route to make cash withdrawals or currency exchange. There were several eating options a walk away from the hotel, with a good Thai restaurant a couple of doors up the street.| |We would happily recommend staying at Lasol Boutique...
Read moreWe stayed here for 3 nights and booked 2 rooms. The one on 5th floor has weird layout and interior design, especially bathroom. It’s not convenient to open shower area door and bathroom door at the same time. The room on the 2nd floor looks nicer and bigger (of course because it’s double price than the 5th floor).
Breakfast is quite good for a 3-star hotel. Menu is changed daily. Their soup food section is really nice. But fresh juice is a bit disappointing, look like it’s made from jam, not fresh fruit (I tried pineapple juice, mulberry juice, strawberry juice).
Location is convenient, not so far from city central. Neighborhood streets are quite clean and safe to walk.
Staffs are friendly and helpful. We forgot to close our windows before going out and it was raining after. They called and helped us to close the window. We had a small problem with our booking via booking.com. They said no need deposit except put my credit card information as a secure method. But hotel still sent us a message via booking.com to ask us transfer as deposit. I understand they worry we wouldn’t come, but we just followed the platform regulations and do exactly what they said.
We had no problems with other hotels in Hoi An and Hue. They didn’t ask us transfer anything for no prepaid booking like this. After discussing directly via phone with hotel staff, everything was fine at the end. We didn’t need to transfer to get our room confirmed. I really appreciated for the quickly and...
Read moreBeautiful hotel with friendly staff. My friends and I had a good time here. Though I must say there were some things that need to be said about our experience. About the pros, there were a lot. The breakfast buffet was amazing. They had a spacious dining room and the food was delicious. They also changed the food daily so that’s definitely a plus. The place looked beautiful. The staff was very helpful and nice. They helped us a lot when we needed assistance. However, one thing I didn’t like about the whole experience was the room. It was small and it’s not comfortable. They didn’t have ACs and the windows, even when they’re open, are not enough to make the room cool. It’s quite suffocating and cramped, especially when I’m a quite big person. I need some more room to be comfortable.
Despite all that, I still think I want to come back to this hotel. It offers nice meals, great hospitality and amazing area. The rooms were not that expensive and actually quite reasonable if you know how to book the rooms through some apps or websites which offer you discounts.
I would recommend this hotel to people if they come to Da Lat and need a good place to stay.
