I am fairly confident about this hotel, about 90% sure, and I will share my thoughts with you. I booked and stayed 3 days in this hotel. Upon my arrival at the hotel, even the taxi driver expressed excitement about its luxurious appearance. I documented my enthusiasm and shared it with my friends, coworkers, and employees. Immediately, I was welcomed by a slender, stern-looking man wearing black-framed glasses at the reception. He presented me with the printed document and inquired about my preferred method of payment. I told him that I had already paid before my trip. He was not in the mood to hear what I had to say. The point is, I recognize that miscommunication is a common occurrence. What worries me the most is the attitude of this guy. It made me uneasy. I arrived at the hotel with good intentions and was amazed by how well-maintained this place is. He was being confrontational until I presented him with the receipt. Next, he phoned his supervisor. I didn't need to experience all of this. The spa he recommended turned out to be terrible that same evening. The following days of my stay were fantastic. The staff is excellent, and the service is outstanding. I observed the progress in management on a daily basis. Different breakfast choices are available and change daily. All I can say is that I am grateful. I was ready to change my initial impression. And on the final day, when I approached the front desk, guess who I saw standing there. He was acting normal and behaved well until I recorded my latest video, expressing my emotions about this entire trip to Da Lat. Once again, something unusual occurred.
So, before i checked out, he cashed me 15k for the noodles. I gave him 50k. When i was done with my video, he told me to give him back 5k. It was nothing to me. But the way he said it. He said: “I remember how much I gave you. Can you give me back the 5k.” There is either he has issue with his communication or he is purposely sabotaging the successful business. He can charge me whatever he wants. I do not care. But he had to wait after I filmed to say all that to my face (on both occasions check in & check out, and it’s all about money) I found it disrespectful and unprofessional. Last word, I love this hotel But I have to let the management know if this guy. He’s the reason why customers are writing negative reviews. I heard what he said to a foreign customer when I checked out today. You might as well check the cameras to know how it went.
