Sleep in Dalat Hostel — Hotel in Da Lat City

We have got the great deal for a room with balcony. We was pointed the wrong direction by the VIP Van driver but with some guide from good Vietnamese women who saw us going to the wrong way to find the hostel, we manage to got the hostel deep in alley.||||Pro:||1) Nice and clean room||2) Great deal||3) Good location. Walking distance to shops and restaurants,street food,various of stores and night market||4) Looks new and clean for us as looked like they have just got it renovated or just recently change owner? (saw some Route 66 hostel somewhere, old signboard?)||5) English speaking front desk||6) They put all brand new big volume (not those hotel amenities small size) toothpaste, bath shower and hair shampoo for us ||7) Clean bed sheet , clean tower||||Cons:||1) With balcony but no windows? There is one big piece of windows glass with a table and chair next to it for you to enjoy some coffee/tea with outside view but the windows glass cannot be opened. We ended up opened the balcony door in order for good ventilation||2) No A/C is OK as it was cool all day long due to highland but no fan? We got it from the receptionist where we took the hall stand fan to our room.||3) Deep inside alley where you need to ask around for direction but not a big problem as there are some small signboard, you just need to be careful to...

We stayed on 18th of February . Place was in a deep alley. Car parking was available but faraway. Owner took us to parking by his motorcycle. Place was clean enough. Bit of wet fungus small when we walked in to our room. Not enough hot water for two people to shower simultaneously. Biggest problem was service... owner and staffs had no western standard mind of service. Morning after first night we noticed to a staff (owner's son) that we wanted to stay two more days. He nodded and smiled. We understood that wa a ok sign. No other objections from him and one other lady. We went out to tour city and came back to the place around 6pm to find our luggage were dragged out in the lobby. They told us that room was rent out to other guest. We asked for explanations but just his son made mistake. He show us a room where his son was staying but room were dirty and not organized . Owner didn't even help our luggage out to the main street. Do not trust review rating. It is just really bad service and bad...
