FAMILY TRANSIT 2 HOTEL — Hotel in Hà Nội

We stayed here for 1 night before our flight home. It was close to the airport, beds were comfy, there was a TV, bottled water, and good aircon in the room. However, the room was outdated, smelt damp and full of mosquitoes and bugs in the bathroom. We don’t recommend using the hotel taxi- we went to the local mall and felt pressured to use the hotel taxi, which we then agreed to. The first ride was fine, but the ride back was extremely delayed by an hour and the driver went to the wrong pick up location despite multiple texts, and didn’t know where we were returning to. Because I had an early morning flight, I prefer to have a hotel near the airport.

The room was acceptable and everything, no problem there but I booked the owner to taxi me to the airport the next morning. He was to be the driver.... Fortunately, there was a grab car for someone else waiting, and due to the language barrier, I took that, but it turned out that the driver and I figured out it was for someone else.i had to pay for it on top of the fee I paid to the hotel. Of course, it was too late because of my flight to get a refund from the hotel so alas that's the way it is.

Honestly I can only give a three star rating...

I have a reservation here for the night of Jan 03 2025, I booked a double room,when I arrived at the hotel, I was arranged to room 305,which was a very small room and very different from the photos I booked on the website, told the lady at the front desk that this was not the room I booked, she said that the guest of the room you booked had not left yet so you can only be given this small room, if you are not satisfied you can ask for cancellation, then I cancelled the room.
