During a recent layover at Hanoi’s Noi Bai International Airport, I dined at a small Vietnamese restaurant offering a mix of traditional dishes, pizza, and vegetarian options. While the menu was diverse, the experience left much to be desired.
Food Quality and Variety: The pho lacked the rich, authentic flavor found elsewhere in Vietnam, and the pizza was underwhelming, with a bland crust and sparse toppings. Vegetarian choices were limited and uninspired, and the vegetable sandwich I tried was dry and lacked seasoning.
Beverages: I ordered a fruit juice, but it was mostly ice, diluting the flavor significantly.
Pricing: Prices were higher than average, which is somewhat expected at an airport, but the quality didn’t justify the cost. For example, a bowl of pho was priced at 140,000 VND, which is steep compared to downtown options.
Payment Options: The restaurant accepts credit cards, USD, and Vietnamese Dong, offering flexibility for travelers.
Overall Experience: While the convenience of a varied menu and multiple payment options is a plus, the subpar food quality and high prices make it hard to recommend this restaurant. For a more satisfying meal, consider exploring other dining options within...
Read morePlease be careful with your food, today I ordered 2 bowls of Pho Ga and 1 bowl of Beef Noodles with my family. There was a cockroach in the bowl of beef noodles, I immediately notified the waitress, but she reacted with indifference and said would she like another bowl of noodles, but would any normal customer want to eat another bowl of the same dish that the cockroach had just appeared?? At the end, the waitress came and gave the bill, of course including the bowl of noodles with the cockroach. I immediately asked why she included the bowl of noodles, but she did not answer the question. This is the first time I have encountered such a case, so I hope it will not happen to anyone else. There are other restaurants with the same dishes literally next door, so if you want to eat like a human being, I suggest you try the dish in other restaurants. And if you love cockroaches, I recommend the Pho Viet...
Read moreFood was average and expensive, the drinks were below average and over the top expensive even more than what you would pay at the airport. I was handed the bill right after ordering, and when I asked to remove a seven dollar coffee drink, I was told it was already being made. I went ahead and paid to avoid confrontation, but that kind of pressure should not be part of the dining experience. Banh Mi and coffee in Hanoi for $13? Would...
