Guesthouse VIP Hoa Lan — Hotel in Hạ Long City

This was the most pleasant stay at my entire career as a traveler. Lân was very welcoming and really happy to help at all cases. Hotel was brand new and perfectly clean. Even though it was situated on main street in marina it was quiet during night. Rooms are equipped with bathroom, air conditioning, high quality furniture and fridge with water, soft drinks and beer. There is gorgeous view of marina from balcony. During our stay Lân had some free time and took us to local market where he helped with selection of some fresh seafood and then cooked a dinner for us. Also he took us to highest peak of Ha Long bay which is closed for tourists but he knew a way there. There are also nice restaurants around hotel and if you prefer classic Vietnamese eateries, there is one with perfect food just few meters from hotel. Lân also offers bike and motorbike rental. Guesthouse VIP Hoa Lan is located in one of the standardized four-storey houses on the shores of Tuan Chau Bay. The owner was one of the most cordial and devoted hosts we have ever met during our travels. He had already given me a lot of information about Ha Long Bay during the booking process. He took us personally from Hanoi Airport and took us to our boat. He gave lots of advice on site and what and where can we find where we should go. ||The room was slightly crowded. The equipment is mixed. There are new, better condition and older, heavily used equipment, furniture. There is a visible effort to completeness. The bathroom was perfectly clean but had a strong canal odor. ||We spent a night here. The hotel was perfect for this one night. The value for money of the hotel and the quality of service are...
