I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Luxury Homestay Vinhomes Dragonbay, and I can confidently say it deserves every one of its 5 stars!

From the moment my family and I arrived, we were greeted by the most incredibly sweet hosts. Their warmth and hospitality went above and beyond what we could have expected. They were attentive, friendly, and always ready with a smile or a helpful suggestion, making us feel right at home. It’s rare to find hosts who genuinely care about their guests’ comfort, but this team nailed it. Their kindness truly set the tone for an unforgettable stay.

One of the standout features of this homestay is how perfectly it caters to families with kids. As a parent, finding a place that’s both safe and enjoyable for children can be a challenge, but this spot exceeded all expectations. The spacious rooms provided plenty of room for our little ones to play, and the overall layout was incredibly kid-friendly. There were no sharp edges or hazards to worry about, and the hosts even offered some thoughtful touches like extra bedding and toys, which my kids absolutely loved. It’s hands down the best place we’ve stayed for a family vacation, and I’d recommend it to any parent looking for an stress-free getaway.

The rooftop terrace with BBQ facilities was the cherry on top! This amazing feature turned our evenings into something special. We enjoyed cooking delicious meals together as a family, soaking in the stunning views, and making memories under the open sky. The terrace was impeccably maintained, with comfortable seating and all the tools we needed for a great BBQ experience. It became our favorite spot to gather, laugh, and enjoy quality time together. The combination of the beautiful setting and the functional space made it a highlight of our trip.

It would seem based on some previous reviews this place has recently been taken over as some of the bad reviews on here sound nothing like what we have just experienced.

The owner Nido and his wife are absolutely amazing people and went so far out of their way to make our stay in ha long delightful, helping us with our bags, booking trips and even getting out deck chairs for us when we was sat outside for only a few minutes waiting for a taxi.

The rooms were also very spacious, clean and beds were comfortable something which is a bit rare from my experience travelling southeast Asia and the shower was also incredible with an actual divider between the shower and the rest of the bathroom (this has also been rare for me). Not to mention aswell, the local area is very beautiful and a great place to be

If you are staying in halong bay I can't imagine any place treating you better than here! There is also a very nice restaurant down the road if you're looking for Italian food which gives you a discount if you are staying here!

We stayed in March and took a trip to Ha Long Bay, every aspect was organised by our lovely hosts. They could not have been more hospitable or helpful. Prior to our arrival they assisted in the booking of our excursion, and even offered to drop us off at the port which wasn’t a short drive! They also gave us recommendations for places to eat. In our stay we also rode a tandem bike down the bay which was such a lovely unique touch. In our stay our hosts were also opening a bakery which we were invited to, we felt welcomed and included. We also had a croissant on arrival that was made by our host which was delicious! When leaving our hosts sent us a huge list of recommendations for the remainder of our trip, a thoughtful touch! 🩷 We would stay again if we ever went back and know we’d receive a warm...
