Checked in to this hotel early Feb 2017 with my family of 8 and stayed for 2 nights. I'll start of with the location,it's sort of at the city centre but it's quite difficult to get any food around. Well maybe because it's holiday season over there during that time.||||Now the room,i booked 3 rooms with window but guess what?! I did get 3 rooms with window but it's facing the CORRIDOR. Guess need to more specific if you want a room with city view. The room is clean but too dark,in short..bad lightings. The beds are too soft for my liking, didn't manage to get any good sleep during my 2 days stay.||||Service..the staffs at the restaurant where they serve breakfast are amazing. Very courteous and friendly and most importantly they always smile and greet us. Makes us feel welcome. ||||As for the receptionists,we send our clothes for laundry on the second day of our stay and later that night we found out 1 piece of our laundry went missing and i informed them and the answer i get was i need to wait till morning then they can help me look for it. When morning comes, the day that i need to check out, guess what..the only answer i get from them was 'We cannot find'. Great...simple and straight forward answer. I don't see any effort being made to find my laundry at all..disappointed.||||Overall,location not so great, receptionist not so great, staffs at restaurant amazing and room needs...

Hygienic except the floor was a little sticky but the room was equipped with flip flops anyway, albeit the size was small. ||Air-con had all the remote switches but it can only operate at 1 mode i.e. ON or off. It took an hour before it could cool down the room comfortably. Don't expect to flog it to freeze you. ||Frequent but brief power failure but no serious impact if you have batteries for your laptops, etc. Expect wifi to be down too. ||Water heater requires at least 10 minutes to heat up but the water was just nice as it is during the hot solstice week. ||My room had a table fan on the floor which was a great add-on. ||Generally situated on the quieter (it's Vietnam so horns are a given) part of the city within the older part of town. Plenty of eateries if you are not picky as long as it is hot and hygienic. ||There's a reasonably nice and famous restaurant down the street towards the SE, across the railway tracks, about 7 minutes walk. You can't miss it because there's a huge statue of a crab on the 5-foot way. See my other review. ||Breakfast buffet spread has...
Read moreWe stayed in this hotel as it was close to our sons apartment. We were concerned about some of the reviews but took a chance.Initially we had a room with no outside window which we found oppressive however we were moved on request to a better room. The rooms are clean and have what is generally needed if a bit tired.||The area is quite central and as taxis are cheap it was not difficult to get around. We have given up on breakfast in Vietnam unless staying in a western chain or in Hanoi or Saigon the choice is for western tastes a little bizarre I.e noddle's, beef stew etc. I did ask for non condensed milk for my coffee but was told quite sternly no! The reception staff were however more accomadating as was the...
