We have just spent a week at Local Beach Homestay at the end of a busy trip to many amazing places in Vietnam. Couldn't be happier. Welcomed warmly by Hue and her lovely family and settled into 2 beautiful upstairs rooms with their own balconies and a larger shared one where we have enjoyed a delicious breakfast in the morning. Great beds and air-con and lots of little touches that made it special. Only 50m walk to the least crowded part of the beach where they have sun lounges and food and drinks service (Hue's banh xeo is one of the best we've had). We had laundry done for minimal cost, transport to and from Da nang, and its only 10 mins in a car to the Old Town. There is a local peaceful vibe here that makes it the perfect place to escape the tourist hordes and mayhem of the Old Town. Extraordinary value for money and will certainly be returning. Thanks Hue for your wonderful hospitality!

Vi anlände sent efter midnatt. Inga problem att checka in och vi fick varsin färsk mangojuice som smakade underbart! Ett fantastiskt boende med en stor uteveranda. Även en fläkt som gör det lätt att sitta ute. Det finns även ett kök där det finns möjlighet att ha självhushåll om så önskas. Vattentunna där du kan fylla på gratis vatten. Rummet är stort och rymligt och fint dekorerat. Säkerhetsskåp finns och toaletten är fin. Sängen helt underbar man sover som en kung. Finns myggnät även om vi inte sett till några mygg. Aircon och fläkt är effektiva och hyfsat tryck i duschen. Frukosten är fantastisk! Finns mycket att välja på. Grymma juicer och gott kaffe. Färska frukter ingår. Vi hade turen att komma när mangon var i säsong. Vilken mango sen, världsklass. Det bästa av allt är familjen som driver stället. Vilka underbara människor. Alltid leende och redo för att du ska få bästa service och en perfekt upplevelse. En kväll bjöd familjen på en riktig brakmiddag. Vilken mat! Underbart! Vi gjorde en avstickare till Da Nang. Trevligt men vi längtade tillbaka till detta härliga ställe. Kommer vi hit igen är det ingen tvekan var vi ska bo. Kommer nog komma en tår när vi lämnar. Stranden ligger bara någon minut bort och är lugn och fin. Du får även tillgång till gratis solsängar och parasoll om du bokar här. Familjen har även restaurang på stranden där du äter fantastisk mat. Rent av bland det bästa vi testat under resan. Bra priser och stort utbud. Mycket trevliga personer och bra service. Högsta betyg! Just the most amazing lovely family run business. Just 40 second walk from the beach with free beach chairs and food and drink (including awsome cocktails) delivered straight to your beach chair! Would never do a hotel again after being looked after so well. Don't miss the breakfast 😋 A truly authentic Vietname experience 😀

This is a perfect place to stay. The bedroom is a very good size - with smart tv, fridge, safe, fan, ceiling fan and AC. Also bed has a mosquito net. Fridge too with soft drinks and beer at reasonable prices. I slept really well in the bed. Bathroom- good quality towels, shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste and toothbrushes. Hot cold water from shower at very good pressure. The terrace has a day bed, table and chairs….. absolutely perfect for relaxing in evening having cold beer from fridge. The beach is about 160 m away walk down quiet pathway. It has its own sun loungers and you have beach towels too.

It is located at far end or quieter end of An Bang beach. All in all this a really really great place to stay. I will...

An Bang Beach is Vietnam's best and hidden amongst the beautiful homes, homestays and hotels amongst the trees and the charming narrow paths down to the glorious beach is a REAL GEM. Local Beach Homestay and Sound of the Sea - managed by the ever-present and brilliant Hien Pham - are both homestays to remember. We stayed in Sound of the Sea for nearly 3 weeks. It was fabulous, marvelous, fantastic! 50 metres from the sea, with all the comforts we needed at a price we could afford - five stars for sure.
