Passion Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Hội An

I’ve travelled through majority of Vietnam spread out across 8 seperate trips, I keep coming back. Passion restaurant I discovered on my 7th time to Vietnam in 2023…. After everything I’ve tried, all locations and cities. I can honestly say that Passion Restaurant is THE BEST I’ve ever found. From service, food quality and safety, pricing, and most of all the owners, Lien and Cuong are the kindest people, with so much attention to detail, I’ve spent so much time there they are family now, I’ve even returned with my own family just so they could experience the incredible food. I’ve never felt sick after eating, I’ve never felt unwelcome, it truly is something special and a memory that will last. I recommend trying the ‘Hoi an specialty dumplings’ and a ‘fresh pineapple juice.’

We ate dinner here several times whilst staying at the nearby Pearl Hotel. Attracted by the cleanliness of this family run restaurant we chose only from the Vietnamese dishes and enjoyed every one. Food is prepared and cooked freshly for each order and served piping hot. All of the glassware cutlery and plates were spotlessly clean. We would particularly recommend the spring rolls, crispy wanton, filleted fish in banana leaf and the BBQ pork but seriously you can't go wrong whatever you choose. The family were all very hospitable and willing to chat with us when business allowed. Portion sizes were sufficient for us and we like our food. We accidentally stumbled upon this beautiful restaurant that was just 50m away from our accommodation. The ambience is cute, welcoming, traditional design with comfortable wooden seating. The food is exceptional! It is worth the wait because they prepare everything from scratch. Li and her husband are humble and very kind. They make sure the customer is satisfied with the food. About the food, I can’t speak much because the food speaks for itself. Please come and support this couple when you’re in Hoi An aa they prepare a very wholesome meal.
