My boyfriend and I stayed here for 14 days in Sept 2019. We cannot say enough positive things about our stay here. Everything exceeded our expectations. The location is great; it is located in a more quiet residential area where you can escape the busy vibe of the town centre. It is only a short bike ride to the town centre or the beach. Bikes are provided. Thu, the host, was very welcoming, friendly, approachable, and personable. She helped us with whatever we needed, including booking tours, calling us a taxi, giving us recommendations of where to eat, etc. Her restaurant recommendations are great!! This homestay is as comfortable as a hotel but also had a friendly family feel. We got to know Thu, her husband, her son, and her little puppy. When we left after our two week stay, we were sad to say goodbye! In terms of the room, the bed is comfortable, and the air conditioning works well. The room is spacious and has a patio that we enjoyed. Thu cooked us breakfast every morning. She makes a delicious banana pancake, which I enjoyed everyday for two weeks! Overall, Thu and her family were very generous to us and showed their appreciation to us in several ways, which we will remember. Hoi An was the highlight of our month-long trip to Vietnam, and Thu’s lovely homestay is a big part of that. We would highly recommend this homestay....
Read moreWe had a wonderful couple of days at Mama's House. Everything from booking to departing on our last day felt like we were visiting an old friend, we were made to feel so welcome and at home. We were unlucky with the weather as the rainy season came late this year, and so unfortunately didn't get to see Hoi An at its best. However we still had a wonderful time, and our host even cooked us dinner one evening when we were rained in! It was so kind of her to do so, and she wouldn't even let us pay for it! We also had some laundry done and turned around in a few hours. Nothing was too much trouble.||||Spotless rooms, comfortable beds, and in a nice quiet street, a short Grab ride away from the main town (and thank goodness as the main town flooded!). This is the ideal base for exploring Hoi An. Breakfast is great, with pancakes, omelettes, delicious coffee and (our favourite) really great baguettes available. ||||I've already recommended Mama's House to friends and will definitely be back, hopefully we'll have better luck with...
Read moreThis was one of the nicest, most welcoming place we have stayed in Vietnam. Anh and her family are all so incredibly welcoming and warm. We were meant to stay for 3 nights and were able to extend our stay by 2 more nights. The rooms are so spacious and clean, the bed is so incredibly |comfortable and the balcony is so lovely to hangout under when it's raining. Each morning we would wander out into the old town for some breakfast and we would come back to fresh towels and a clean room. Anh was so lovely to talk to and was full of great recommendation for food and drink around hoi an! We were able to rent a motorbike and explore the beautiful countryside of cat Kim, just outside hoi an. We felt like family staying in this beautiful homestay. We would highly recommend this place to anyone coming into hoi an who want to be in a cozy quiet environment. We will be back in the very...
