Tu Tam Book Café — Restaurant in Hội An

When I went on AirBnB, the activity was already all booked out. I took a chance and wrote to Zen to see if she would maybe have 2 spots available on her schedule and she was kind enough to open an afternoon timetable for us to do the activity.

I’ve booked this workshop for my mom and I, as we love doing art & craft. We had an incredible time making our notebook with Zen and Ngân. The workshop atmosphere was calm and inspiring. We’ve actually learned a lot and hope we will be able to recreate our masterpieces once back home.

Love the ambience here. Very kitsch and homely. Books everywhere and boardgames/wood blocks/drawing to entertain the kids while we parents have down time. Salted coffee was yummy and ginger lemongrass tea was heart warming. Comfy couches and tables set into little pods so everyone has their own space. Beautiful old details from house has been kept when refurbishing for coffee shop. This quaint coffee shop amongst local residence also has a small leather workshop where they can teach you leather work. 4 hrs for 1mil VND. My husband will try tomorrow. What a wonderful cafe! Sometimes we specially set aside time on weekends to come here. Inside the cafe you feel like you are somewhere far from the city, and can relax peacefully, enjoying nature. The cafe has many interesting books, board games, so you can spend time here alone or with children. And the banana pie is worthy of a Michelin star - very tasty!
