Phuc Thao Villa — Hotel in Hội An

After our wonderful stay at Phuc Thao Villa last May ,we loved it so much that we booked again, to our great pleasure nothing had changed from the very warm welcome we received from the delightful owners Son and Hien together with their extremely helpful caretaker Nam, to our super comfortable room our second time around was just as good as the first and we enjoyed every minute of our time in this truly remarkable accommodation which gives a new meaning to the saying " Value for Money". My advice to any would be travellers to the fabulous town of Hoi An is , "Don't waste your money on expensive five star hotels, because you will NOT get any better or personal service and comfort from them than you would from the great family at Phuc Thao. Having fallen in love with the Town and people of Hoi An we are already planning our next trip there in or around July and will not even consider looking for alternative accommodation. Our stay at Phuc Thao Villa in Hoi An, Vietnam, was an absolute delight. Tucked away on a quiet street, the villa offered the perfect balance of serenity and proximity to the vibrant Old Town, just a 20-minute stroll away.

What truly set Phuc Thao Villa apart was the exceptional service, especially from Son, a service attendant who not only cooked us breakfast daily but also provided personalized recommendations and assistance that greatly enhanced our stay. His warmth and dedication made us feel incredibly welcome.

The villa itself boasted comfortable amenities, and any minor issue, like a problematic tap, was fixed immediately with no inconvenience to us. The peaceful and respectful atmosphere of the place allowed us to relax fully and enjoy our surroundings.

Phuc Thao Villa is a gem for anyone visiting Hoi An, offering a peaceful retreat close to the city’s heart. Thanks to Son and the team, our visit was memorable and joyous. For a stay that combines the comfort of home with the charm of Vietnam, Phuc Thao Villa...

The owner, Son, is such a great host. We arrived by night bus at 6:30am and just chilled out on his pool sun loungers until he woke at 7am and saw us. He welcomed us and checked us in immediately, to a lovely clean, fresh room. The hotel is a little far from the Old Town (2km), but he provides free bicycles and rents his own scooters at a very reasonable price. A Grab bike is also only ~$0.50 into town centre....but it's better to stay at Phuc Thao Villa because they have a lovely pool area where you can relax and escape the heat...with a much bigger pool than you will find closer to the town centre. His room price is excellent, and such a comfortable bed. He also provided us with a range of information on local places to visit and eat. He is always happy to help and make your stay as pleasant as possible. We are so glad that we decided to stay here 😃 while in Hoi An.
