Please avoid this place at all cost. I just went there with my family and I ordered a banh xeo and they gave me raw pork. The pork part was completely raw. Still completely pink and jelly feeling. I told them it was raw and showed it to them and they took it back and brought it back again and it was still raw. But the bottom part is completely burnt. When was it okay to eat raw pork?? I picked at the sides and it was completely cold. If it was redone why would it be cold. I didn’t even eat it.

My dad ordered the fish (ca kho) and we asked them to not put onions as my dad is allergic to onions. We had told them 6 times please don’t put any onions in there. They added soooo many onions on there and we told them and she said we are giving them a hard time and we’re not welcomed here. (The husband was really nice about it as he is the one that took our orders but the wife came out yelling at us saying we are picky and telling us to leave)

We also ordered a tom yum soup and again it was not a soup and was the strangest thick sauce thing I have seen and it was sooooo salty. It looked nothing like the photo. And it was overly salted on purpose or somthing.

I was scared they were going to spit in our food as the lady was so aggressive and rude.. I didn’t eat the banh xeo. We hardly touched the Tom yum. She seemed like she wanted to beat us up for complaining. Everyone in the Resturant is western and did not understand what was happening but everyone was staring. (We were not asking for free we just wanted them to fix it). If you give someone raw food and mess up you should just apologize and move on. Not get all aggressive and rude.

Also they said this place is for westerners so it’s not for Viet ppl … I am born and raised in Canada and I have never had food like that before.

PLEASE AVOID. This place was the worst place I have ever eaten in my life. You have been warned.

Edit: just read the reply of the owner. Yes he offered us for free which the wife came Out yelling saying DONT TAKE THEIR MONEY. THEY ARE NOT WELCOMEd here. GET OUT OF MY RESTAURANT. We do not want your money. And that is when I started to record as what kind of response is that? Don’t bring god into this as god knows and sees your actions as well. This is not how you treat people. I was always going to pay and I do not need free food. If you give for free to apologize then say it nicely not yelling at someone and telling them to get out. And also we didn’t even eat most of it??? So when u brought the food out I literallly went up and said can I get the bill. I’m not gong to eat it cuz it’s cold and raw and not good. And when I started to record they got mad and said if u want to record you will pay. She was screaming at us to pay. Which we did. Why are you acting as if I ate it all then just came up and complained. I really hope your wife gets anger management classes because she is seriously ill and has mental problems. Yes you are nice but your wife is absolutely ridiculous and an aggressive angry person.

I never said your wife hit me I said how she was talking and acting it’s like she wanted to hit me as she was yelling and getting so mad. Stop lying.

Also yes my family is from hai phong but I am born and raised in Canada. My parents are from there but they moved to Canada 30 years ago. So YES THEY ARE STILL FROM HAI PHONG. and what’s the point of even adding that in there? If we spoke to you in English and told you we were from Canada would you have treated us differently? Basically proving my point more that you are racist and discriminate to your own people. They only want to serve and respect “white people” while they treat people that are Vietnamese less than. Don't eat here. The service is so horrible and the owners wife was so angry and aggressive. They gave us raw food and got mad when we told them to cook it again. We told them no onions and they put onions as I am allergic and she got mad again when we told them. The husband was fine and nice but the lady really needs to calm down as she is the one that is cooking and she can't give ppl raw meat. Just say sorry and move on. No need to get aggressive and rude. This was a nice little spot we found just down the road from our hotel. The music was playing in the background so we decided to have a cold drink.
