During my several trips to HoiAn, I've eaten here four times, and mostly, it is very good. The service is always friendly and attentive, and they're genuinely interested in making sure you are well looked after and that you are enjoying the food. Their food and beverage selections are varied, but it predominantly caters to Western & Mexican cuisines. WiFi is also freely available, especially for couples or groups to not talk to each other and only interact with their devices....a common 21st-century occurrence and abomination!!! I've tried three different versions of their Juicy Lucy burgers during my visits, and each one was very good. I've tried the Peanut Butter Bacon Juicy Lucy (strange but surprisingly good), the Classic Juicy Lucy (very good, but plain) and the Aussie with The Lot (the best so far....but messy to eat). These are all served with unsalted fries (unfortunately, the salt shakers don't dispense the salt very well - nozzles are blocked, and the salt suffers from the humid or wet weather, thus clumpy.). I have also tried the loaded fries, which were ok, but nothing sensational. Overall, the portions are ok and sufficient, but not huge. Prices are a bit high due to the imported ingredients and quality being used. (I see people complaining about the prices....I dare anyone to try and find a gourmet burger with fries for under AUD20 in Australia, and be any good!!!) My recent experience was regrettably not as positive as my other ones. I ordered the Deluxe Hotdog, as it sounded nice. When it arrived, the sausages (two end to end) were cold. After a quick mention to the staff member, it was quickly taken away, and I was informed that a new Hotdog was going to be prepared (and they were very apologetic). Ok, these things can occur, but his meant I either let my fries get cold or eat them by themselves. Had the roles been reversed, I would've had the whole meal replaced in its entirety. When the replacement Hotdog arrived, both the sausages were cooked properly, but it looked like some of the original ingredients were salvaged and reused??? So, I was just a little disappointed by the whole affair....and after that ordeal, it was just an OK Hotdog. I would not recommend the Hotdogs as an option, but definitely the Juicy Lucy burgers. If I ever return to HoiAn, I would revisit...
Read moreWe had passed this place a few times and we are just now realizing that it was a mistake! We should have been eating at this place all along!!
The first thing we noticed here was the friendly staff. We pulled up on motorbikes and sat down, only to look back and see them bringing out blankets to cover the seats on our bikes so that they weren't burning hot by the time we left. They were also very attentive the entire time we were there.
Then the menu, burgers, hot dogs, salads, local food! This place has it all! I had the avacado bacon burger and oh my goodness, I have been missing really good bacon since we've been in Vietnam and I just found it! My daughter had the vegetarian baguette and it was packed with flavor, my sons both had hot dogs and the chili was outstanding!
Besides the excellent food this place has games, cards, and puzzles for the kids to help keep everyone entertained. Also, the music selection was actually really good as well.
Kudos to the Circle Cafe on providing and excellent dining experience with great...
Read moreDuring my stay in Hoi An—which lasted nearly three weeks—I came to this place almost every day for lunch or dinner. I was dealing with some health issues, and the staff were incredibly kind and understanding, always making sure to adapt the meals to my dietary needs.
Even on days when I couldn’t get out of bed, I was able to order through Grab, and the food arrived with the same quality as always. I really appreciated that.
One day, they even gave me a homemade cookie as a small gift, just to cheer me up. That gesture meant a lot.
I didn’t get the chance to try many dishes myself, but my best friend did, and he told me the burger here was one of the best he had in Hoi An.
Hopefully next time I come back in better health so I can enjoy the rest of the menu. This place is...
